The 2014-15 NBA season got under way last night with one team from the Eastern Conference in action. The Orlando Magic may not be a factor come playoff time this season, but are they set up to make a run in a couple years? What other teams in the East may not be serious contenders today, but could be before the 2016 free for all? While Chicago and Cleveland are the clear favorites, can any team come up from behind and shock the world?
Tonight kicks off the 2014-15 NBA season, so we'll go over each of the games and break down all teams involved going forward. In the Eastern Conference, the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers are the clear-cut favorites to represent the conference in the NBA Finals. But, with teams on the rise, such as Washington, Toronto, Charlotte and Atlanta, can any of those younger teams beat out the favorites? Also, does anybody have a shot at beating out Philadelphia for the best possible chance at winning the lottery?

Where is it's status?
2 minute warning
Thirteen days of the NBA season is in the books and the Eastern Conference may look a bit different than what some fans expected to this point. The Toronto Raptors are the No. 1 seed, while the Milwaukee Bucks are rounding things out as the No. 8. Of course it has only been two weeks to this point, but what trends do we see continuing, and which teams should be able to turn things around? Do the Cleveland Cavaliers have something to worry about after a slow start?
For the first time in what seems like forever, I'll be going over the NBA world when it comes to the 2014-15 season. Who should the top eight teams be in the Eastern and Western Conferences be, come playoff time? Is Cleveland just one of the top four or so teams in the East? Or with LeBron James and the shooters he will essentially bring with him, should they be the favorites? As far as the West is concerned, are there any new teams that could sneak up on the likes of San Antonio, Oklahoma City and the Los Angeles Clippers?

Well the Pats came back and overcame a strong Ravens defense.... The Seahawks ran off with it, albeit mostly in the second half..... Karma got even with the Cowboys, as a reversed call ruins their day (and a possible comeback).... aaaaand Peyton Manning was held in check for much of today's game.
So our NFC title game features a master QB facing a monster defense. And the AFC title game features Andrew Luck and company trying to stop the team that's been in it 9 times in the last 14 years. Should be good stuff! Unless your team got knocked out....
