2014 Dallas Cowboys Training Camp Primer
By Bryan Houston and Matthew Postins
Rattleandhumsports.com host Bryan Houston is joined by Dallas Cowboys writer Matthew Postins to check in on the Cowboys as they began 2014 training camp Thursday.
How much will quarterback Tony Romo take part in camp and what happens if he gets hurt again?
A quick prayer, and then...
Brandon Weeden appears to be the Cowboys backup QB, if not who is?
What will Rob Marinelli's defense look like as he takes over as defensive coordinator for Monte Kiffin? Is there anyway this unit can be better than last year's minus DeMarcus Ware, Jason Hatcher and Sean Lee?
Despite the dreaded vote of confidence from owner and GM Jerry Jones, is head coach Jason Garrett's job safe if the Cowboys finish 8-8 and out of the playoffs again. What if their record is even worse as many are predicting?
What are the biggest stories to watch during training camp over the next few weeks? Who out of the 2014 draft class could make the biggest impact in his rookie campaign?
And finally, what is our prediction for the team this season?
Closing Prayer for Cowboys Nation.

2014 was a year to remember.
It was the year that Black people woke up and began to push back against a system that marginalizes them and a system that supported the wanton murder of Black people by the police. While police have been abusing and murdering Black people for a long time, in 2014, Blacks began to protest after the justice system sat down and supported murder by cop. Black people stood up and launched the longest protest since the 1960s. When Blacks stood up, other people joined the protest—around the nation and around the world. And now, a change must come.
In 2014, hackers became revolutionaries, exposing racists in high places—particularly the film industry, which has been racist for a long time in practice, but has now been exposed for being racist in speech as well. This from an industry that thought it was okay to make a “funny” film about murdering the leader of a sovereign nation. A change must come.
2014 was a year of losses and a year of gains. It was a year of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer and a year of people getting tired of getting their asses kicked.
But I know, a change gone come.
