    The Real Truth

    in Christianity

Challenges don't mean you are losing but that you are waiting on God the Father through Jesus Christ to open up the Red Sea so you can walk over into His best on dry ground. Waiting for God best which is right for you. Many people live in this that it beats nothing rather than the fields of blessings upon blessings. Don't worry about challenges for they are holding you back from making a terrible decision that will cost you from entering the land of glorious beauty. I love you!

There are basics that must be handled early on in preparedness. You usually look at food, water, shelter, protection, first aid and information. For many of us a base of preparedness is laid and we begin to feel a little better about our situation. We get comfortable again in our better living situation. Better but is it enough? Are you a little stagnant? Tonight I want to talk about 5 ways to ramp up your preparedness if you have hit a wall or feel the same things I do lately.

This show is about stroke and brain injury and is for anyone interested in stroke with bits and pieces thrown in for inspiration, ways to be healthy, less stressed and more.  I want to be here to share and to lift up other stroke survivors or warriors.  I want to help you find out there are others going through what you have gone though.  Maybe not the same journey but a survivor none the less.  To give positive information, inspire and embrace what you have and continue moving forward.

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1200

    in Self Help

Tonight's special guest is Megan (Meg) Sartor from Queesland, Australia. She and her sister molested by their stepfather, who was prosecuted for her sister while Meg's abuse was never considered.  Later she was assaulted by her maternal grandfather. Her mom didn't want to rock the boat, fearing she'd lose her inheritance. Meg has since gotten "historical justice" which she recommends. "I always knew from such a young age that my family were disappointed or regretted that I came into this world," Megan says, "I can remember my parents treated us kids very differently," she goes on, "I was not loved like a child should be." After her parents divorced her nightmare began. Meg's mother went thru a rebellious stage. She had many boyfriends, and one in particular turned Mega's world upside down. After a period of time grooming her while bathing, he started to be a regular visit to her bedroom late at night. Then he began sexually abusing her at virtually every opportunity, behind her mother's back. "The school knew what was going on," Meg says, "as I had confessed why I felt so sick. I guess Sister Therese Ann and Sister Sarah just didn't know how to deal with it." Her childhood traumas set her up to have a tumultuous and often tragic adulthood, filled with inappropriate relationships, bad decisions and suicide attempts. But she hopes that's behind her. "For now I'm trying to stay positive. I have my ups and downs but with everything I have dealt with and it's all been on my own, Meg writes. "One day I will be able to share a home with my man, maybe have the wedding that I so longed for, the one that I dreamed of as a little girl. One day someone will want me forever."

If you know Johnny Davis, you know he’s a good guy, now.  He wasn’t that way when he was young, and you know what?  No one probably could have told him he was going to have a show where he would be throwing down the jamms.  And the reason why I spelled it JAMMS and not JAMS, is because Johnny Graham Carcker (Cracker) Davis is popping them preferences, just for all of you who have learned to love this show.  THE HONEY COMB HIDEOUT is on the real, all kinds, all types, all styles, all and all we sho love to ball!  Johnny Davis also does his show after KINGS IN THE MORNING on Wednesdays, and it’s WILD!  I’m going to pretend I’m Chuck Berry and yell, GO JOHNNY GO!
