Coming at you a little late this week, Elias Wilkin brings the view of Spiritual Politics to bear upon the question of workers' rights, particularly the issue of wages. He'll examine the rights of property and contract, in the terms of Spiritual philosophy, and then lay out a view of the role the government should (or should not) play in the regulation of labor.

Co Host Ron March showings how civil rights is on trial.....Michael Vick civil rights vs Michael Brown civil rights....What is civil rights, why is it on trail, the difference between civil rights and human rights
We talk about rights as if there was a standard in the way we define the term. I'd like to respond on the program to a comment made by Thom Hartman, RT TV, when he said that the internet has become so integrated in our lives it is becoming a "right". I heard this before regarding natural resources, et al. Let's get a handle on the subject of "rights" to determine if Thom has a point. Listen in and call in now also toll-free 888-773-4496. Look forward to hearing from you.
BOB DARBY AND LYNN EAGLE FEATHER, ADVOCATES FOR THE HOMELESS MENTALLY ILL - Thursdays, 3pmEST ~ Please call to speak on air at (347) 857-3293 for all broadcasts. Darby studied in psychology and theology in graduate school.
Darby has been an advocate for the homeless mentally ill for more than twenty years. He has a B.A. in psychology from Emory University. He is a former employee of Georgia Regional Hospital, Boston State Hospital, and New Hampshire's Hanover-Darthmouth Hospital. In 1994, he co-founded Atlanta Food Not Bombs. Lynn Eagle Feather is an elder in the Lakota Nation. She discusses homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, its causes and effects among Native Americans and others. Eagle Feather has been a human rights advocate for over 10 years.
Today's episode will center on injustices such as wrongful deaths by police, the Tazing of an 8-year-old Native girl by South Dakota police, and issues that YOU bring to the table. Call in and have your say.
Darby and Eagle Feather explain that people with serious mental illness and addictions are deliberately rendered homeless in the United States of America and deprived of psychiatric and medical health care services. This is unacceptable. Voters should petition elected officials to improve treatment and subsistence opportunities for mentally ill people and those with substance abuse issues. To listen to the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity; the bitch-sisters of rhetorical conservative propoganda based political punditry have managed to take the shooting of a unarmed African American teen and turn it into an indictment of the black community and the support of a militarized police state if not existing in every city in america, capable of the same atrocities heaped on the citizenery of Ferguson Missouri. To make matters worse, the African-American president Barrack Obama doesn't even visit the situation, show leadership byu bringing some "hope" and "change" to a brutallly oppressed minority he is a member of...and no the President of the United States doesn't get a vacation, some time off and respite from the tireless and endless hours the presidency entails; it's 24/7 and if you can't or won't do it, then don't run. All this while the Tea Party and their various illiterations are what your intrepid host has know all along; that they are money piots for those who start and manage them doing little of nothing that they are purported to do while enriching the principals. While the unsuspecting and certainly oblivious due to moral blindness and outright stupidity supporters of these Super-Pacs while watching their chosen candidates get slaughtered at the polls. Can you say "one-term wonders" and yes Sarah Palin, I think your 15 minutes may finally be up.
