    The Anointing \ A Unção

    in Christianity

I have found David my servant; with my holy oil I have anointed him,
With whom my hand shall be established, and my arm shall strengthen him.
The enemy did not; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him; and in my name shall be exalted his power.
I will also give your hand at sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
He will call me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
Also I will make my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
My mercy will save you I forever, and my covenant shall stand him, Psalms 89: 20-28

Ele me chamará, dizendo: Tu és meu pai, meu Deus, e a rocha da minha salvação.
Também o farei meu primogênito mais elevado do que os reis da terra.
A minha benignidade lhe conservarei eu para sempre, e a minha aliança lhe será firme, Salmos 89:20-28

What He Did: What Was Done by the One We Call Our Savior and Risen Lord?

    in Christianity

We have many names for Jesus, but this week, "Easter Week," ending with Resurrection Sunday, we think upon the name of Savior and RISEN Lord. Savior is someone who saves. Lord is someone who reigns. The Scripture says that Jesus Christ is the "lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world" and our Passover Lamb (we'll look at this). When Jesus went to the cross as the Lamb of God, slaughtered before men, He became the Savior of all men, redeeming all who would believe upon His name- the plan from the beginning. When He rose from the dead, He claimed Lordship through the full demonstration of His power, power that can be made real in our lives as servants in His kingdom through the Holy Spirit.

Let us see what He has prepared for us, and hasten to His throne, where we can find help and mercy in our time of need, and the forgiveness of sins thanks to what He did on that cross! Blessed Redeemer!!!

No other name, but the name of Jesus!

LivingEden: Spain, Valencia Cathedral, Holy Grail and High School Robotics

    in Spirituality

Blessings in this Holy Week we are walking in and creating.  We'll take a peak at Spain as our part of the planet this week.  Then honor the impact of the High School Robotics teams in our country.  How are they supporting LivingEden on the planet?

One of the most important cultural, architectural and historical monuments in Spain is Valencia Cathedral, situated in the centre of the Old Town, near Plaza de la Reina. Masterpieces of the greatest Italian and Spanish artists, such as Niccolo Fiorentino, Vincente Juan Masip, Francixco Goya, José de Ribera and others, are exhibited in the museum of the Cathedral. But the most interesting thing in Valencia Cathedral is a key item of Passion of Christ — The Holy Grail. According to legend that is the very vessel Christ used during the Last Supper. This sacred object is recognized by Vatican.

I invite you to have www.airpano.com on your computer and bring up Valencia, Spain 360 degree pictures.  Picture # 8 is the Cathedral.  You can hear some music, words, voice here. Pause and let yourself feel the energy of the city, of the cathedral. See, even touch the pictures.

Upcoming will be an interview with Stacy Goforth and Valinda Salva updating you with their amazing journey supporting you with fiery, sparkly, empowered energy jewelry.  Please send in quesitons for them.  Your questions, sharings and insights for LivingEden are greatly appreciated also.  You can call in live on the show at 909-533-8401 what fun to be joined with others on the show.

Show will be at 4:30EST this week only.

Invoke violet flame to transmute records from past lives

    in Spirituality

The violet flame helps us to transmute energetic burdens from past lives that register in the superconscious, conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind. These records precipitate as karmas that we must overcome. The violet flame brings mercy and healing for the dissolution of these challenging momentums, and how they impact our present-day relationships and circumstances. Let's give some mantras together now!

Author James Bailey of "Contrast Community" will be the guest

    in Christianity

James L. Bailey is interviewed as the author of the Contrast Community which is an intense discovery of the Sermon on the Mount and it's meaning.  It deals with the beattitudes which appeals to those who have emptiness and desire mercy to those who have fullness and can give.  He approaches the book as a tool for the church to use a transformative power to minister to the external world by employing lessons Jesus gave like turning the other cheek, giving the cloak off your back, walking the extra mile for someone.  He also tackles broader lessons of Christ on adultery, anger and its potential damage and how to become perfect in Christ (don't swear, express hatred).  The church can use these basic precepts as an effective ministry to help those who are suffering in their local community.  He also explains the difference of believers in the 1st Century church who were rabbinical Jews, Pharisees, Gentiles and how Jewish converts had to deal with critics to come full circle in the Judeo-Christian belief and accept the Messiah.

James Bailey graduated from Capital University (1960) and Trinity Lutheran Seminary (1964) in Columbus, Ohio, before earning a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland (1967). After pastoring in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jim taught at Trinity Lutheran Seminary (1970-74), Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota (1975-85), and Wartburg Theological Seminary (1985-2003). Jim is now the John S. and William A. Wagner Professor Emeritus of Biblical Theology at Wartburg Seminary, having retired from full-time teaching in 2003.  Jim has published several Bible studies for the church and is co-author of Literary Forms in the New Testament. He most recently published Contrast Community: Practicing the Sermon on the Mount, the topic for his session during Re-formation and Renewal. Jim and his wife Judy still reside in Dubuque, Iowa.

Gospel of Matthew 5: 1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.3  “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
