Friendly Spirit, Joyce Meyer, and I Timothy 2:1 (Everyday Thanks #45)

    in Self Help

Today, I am thankful for a friendly spirit.

Our quote of thanks is from Joyce Meyer. He said, "I imagine that it saddens the heart of God when we murmur and complain, instead of being thankful after He's been so good to us."

Our Bible verse of thanks is I Timothy 2:1. It reads, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for all men."

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD ONLINE VIEWING PARTY

    in Entertainment

AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead has a teenage problem according to some fans. Could the introduction of two young new characters from Flight 462 tip the show over the edge?
In AMC’s original zombie series, The Walking Dead, the cast has always been varied. While AMC may have be partial to killing off black characters, they could never be accused of a lack of diversity. In the spin-off series, Fear The Walking Dead, however, some fans are concerned at the lack of diversity in the core character group. The main group is made up of eight characters, half of these are considered teen to young adult.
Fans can expect two more younger characters to join the cast for at least a short time thanks to the miniseries, Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462. Fans who have watched this miniseries unfold will recognize Jake (Brendan Meyer) and Charlie (Michelle Ang) as two of the characters on the doomed Flight 462. Both of these characters have been billed as appearing in episode 3. As yet it is unclear just how long they will survive Fear The Walking Dead. If they do live beyond episode 3, there will be six teens against four older characters. That’s an awful lot of teen angst for a show that is based in a zombie apocalypse. Can a show like this even sustain so many young characters?

Karen Stuth of Satiama Writer's Resource- Bring Forth The Book Within You

    in Spirituality

Write Your Book, Tell Your Story

The simple truth is this:  every person is a visionary with a unique story to tell.

Whether that story is your own autobiographical story, whether it is a work of fiction, whether poetry is your medium or whether you tell your story through art, music, dance or some other medium, we all have a story worth telling. If you have yearned to write a story or a book or to bring forward your voice in any form, this is your own soul path calling you to share who you are and what you have learned so far with others, not only for their benefit, but especially for your own.

Karen Stuth, co-owner of Satiama, LLC, will discuss Satiama Writers Resource and the craft of writing as a part of each person’s spiritual path.  Writers and authors will learn how they can bring forward their book or manuscript without some of the major pitfalls of self-publishing and print on demand services. Listeners will also learn why bringing forward your voice and your book are important to the world…and to you. www.satiama.com
