The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab - Packers Superfan Steve "The Owner" Tate

    in Sports

"The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli returns. However, this is not the average everyday sports show he is bringing back to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" of sports at its best.

This week on "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", our special guest will be the one and only Packers Super Fan, Steve "The Owner" Tate (@SteveTheOWNER) to talk about his beloved Green Bay Packers, as well as give a testimonial on the passing of Packers legend Fuzzy Thurston. Also on the show, we have Allie Fontana (@AllieFontana) back for her "Allie's Fantasy Alley" segment at 10:00pm EST, renowned NHL expert and Amazon Best-Selling author Russ Cohen (@sportsology) at 11:00pm EST for some NHL talk and another upcoming book, and FFToolBox's Scott Atkins (@FFToolbox)  at 11:30pm EST to talk about the final leg of the Fantasy Football Word Championships and more.

The beacons are lit, the experiments will be plenty, the test subjects are ready, and "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab is open for business.

    in Spirituality

Here we are on the eve of Winter Solstice and the last New Moon on 2014 and while winter is just "beginning" so to speak, our Seasonal Soul is in the depths ... in the silence ... of the season.  From that Silence comes the emanation of Aletheia - Truth and the Unhidden and that is what we are seeking in the gorgeous expanse of the Goddess Sige (Silence Herself) - the Truth that lies within the Silence of our souls.

Meditation will be led by Kimberly F. Moore: She is the Founder of the MotherHouse of the Goddess.  Kimberly has been a Priestess of the Goddess for almost 20 years.  Goddess Mythology, Goddess Spirituality, Metaphysics, Western Esotericism, and Ritual have been the focus of her studies and teaching.  Read her complete bio here.

Goddess Alive Radio is the weekly Blogtalk Radio show for the MotherHouse of the Goddess and is hosted by Kimberly F. Moore & Tracey Paradiso (the Creator and Co-Creator) of the MotherHouse of the Goddess. in Wrestling

Join Dem UK Boys for the second part of their review of the year that was.  Tonight Plan and Maverick walk us through July to December, where a lot of absent stars gave plenty of time for the new generation to shine.  They will look in depth into the controversy over John Cena taking the title over the summer and the criticism of the product in the IWC.  They will look at the year defining feud that saw former Shield brothers Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins take each other to the next level.  There will be a discussion of our current, part-time champ as well as a debate over the main event of Survivor Series.  Finally Plan and Mav give their thoughts on the idea that NXT outshone the main roster during their December special events.

NFL Draft Podcast featuring Rodney Nichols, Benedictine, CB

    in Football

Bringing the next generation of tomorrows NFL stars to you today on the College2Pro.com Players Platform Show. Join host Bo Marchionte with special guest Rodney Nichols of Benedictine.

After a strong senior season, Benedictine University defensive back Rodney Nichols has been selected for the fifth annual National Bowl, a post-season all-star game consisting of student-athletes from Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools. The game will take place at 9:00 a.m. central time on Sunday, December 7 (10:00 a.m. eastern) at Ocean Bank Field in Miami, Florida on the campus of Florida International University.

A two-year starter at cornerback, Nichols was a key member of a BenU defense that led the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in pass defense (147.1 yards per game) this season. An All-NACC Second Team selection, the South Carolina native tallied 47 tackles, four tackles for loss, a forced fumble, five pass breakups, and four interceptions. Three of the four interceptions came in consecutive games, with one of those being returned 54 yards for a touchdown against Concordia University Wisconsin. In his two-year BenU career, Nichols intercepted seven passes and tallied 15 pass deflections. On top of this year's All-NACC honor, Nichols was named All-Sportsmanship by the conference last season.
