On this special Get Out The Vote (GOTV) episode of The Social Spitball Show, Dr. David Alameel returns to speak with us about how his campaign for United States Senate is going as his Lone Star State quickly approaches the start of Early Voting.
Dr. Alameel gave an outstanding interview last time and we look forward to hearing more of his tales from the campaign trail. His opponent in the November 4 election is Republican U.S. Senator John Cornyn, who is one of the worst offenders against the people in Congress. With the Texas governor's race tightening and Dr. Alameel's friend Senator Wendy Davis gaining more ground everyday, Tune in to find out how that blue energy is affecting Dr. Alameel's race.
As the only guest on our show, Dr. Alameel will have plenty of time to talk about the issues that matter to Texans and Americans in general.
Let's get the conversation going...
My name is Gail Goode and I am running for the United States Senate. I am challenging junior senator Kirsten Gillibrand. As you may well recall, the junior senator was appointed by an unelected governor. New Yorkers deserve the opportunity to select their own senatorial candidate, just like Americans all over this great country.
While I am not a politician, I am qualified to be a senator for the people of New York. For the past 24 years I have been an advocate for the City of New York. Currently I serve as Deputy Borough Chief in the Brooklyn Tort Division of the New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel. As Deputy Borough Chief of Trials, I defend all city employees who are accused of negligently performing their duties on the job. From 1992 through 2006, I served as a major case trial attorney for New York City Transit Authority; I handled high profile cases, including the Union Square Derailment, The Fulton Street Fire Bombing and the Fifth Avenue Bus Crash

Trump, Cruz, Clinton, Sanders…it’s politics on The Halli Casser-Jayne Show when joining Halli at her table are two outspoken voices on government the Steve Jobs of politics, the guy who remade Britain's leading political party who now has his eyes set on America's political system, Steve Hilton, and Tom Nichols, a senior contributor at the FEDERALIST, his latest piece “If I Lose Friends Over Trump, So Be It,”
Out with his brand new book MORE HUMAN: DESIGNING A WORLD WHERE PEOPLE COME FIRST, Steve Hilton is one of UK's most known political figures -- probably only behind David Cameron and Boris Johnson. As Cameron's senior adviser, he literally remade the Tory party into a modern, winning conservative party with Cameron after decades in exile. He is cofounder and CEO of Crowdpac, a Silicon Valley political tech start-up, and teaches at Stanford University.
Tom Nichols is a professor at the U.S. Naval War College and at the Harvard Extension School. In addition to his academic posts, he has been a fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Relations, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In Washington, he served as personal staff for defense and security affairs in the United States Senate to the late Senator John Heinz of Pennsylvania.

Last week we started on our journey of facing up to the struggles in our lives with courage, faith and determination. We determined that the true anecdote to fear is courage, and facing that fear can indeed be daunting at times.
As we tackle this topic, let’s look to three historical figures whose life sacrifice becomes the basis of why courage is such a majestic force of change.
Today we’ll explore the heroic lives of Harriet Tubman, the ex-slave who led more than 300 slaves to freedom, Solomon Northup, kidnapped into slavery only to emerge as a free man 12 years later and Abraham Lincoln who fierce determination to keep the Union in tact ultimately emancipated millions of slaves around the United States.
Freedom fighters and survivors whose courage triumphed over fear in the midst of some of the most painful periods of American history.

How did you feel, what did you think when you read the title of tonight's show? Soon Bards Logic will launch a petition to Donald Trump and Ben Carson who is heading the vetting of possible Vice Presidential picks. The petition will state many of the reasons why Donald Trump should choose Newt Gingrich.
Here is the short version of the Petition.
Dear Candidate Trump,
We congratulate you on your victory for the Republican nomination. Now it is time to move forward to choose a running mate that Conservatives will support and who knows Congress. That person is Newt Gingrich. He took the Republican Party to a 54 seat gain to win the House of Representatives in 1994 which had been held by the Republicans for only two out of the previous 62 years. This fact will alleviate those with fears of down ballot loses. Gingrich also has experience balancing budgets as he did in 1995. He got passed the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. Gingrich supports the Six Sigma business management model for the United States government. During his 2012 campaign, Gingrich proposed a balanced Budget Amendment, building a fence on the US-Mexican border, and promoted a reduction of the federal government's influence adhering to the 10th Amendment on States' Rights. Gingrich promotes increasing America's investment into the future in the areas of science and technology. For these reasons and more Mr. Trump we urge you to choose Newt Gingrich as your running mate for Vice President of the United States. Signed_____________
Look for the extended petition and the link to where YOU can sign to tell Trump to pick Newt Gingrich as his Vice President Running Mate.
