Sister2Sistah Presents Lifestyle Changes Inside and Out

    in Women

Can lifestyle changes really improve people's health? The evidence for the importance of healthy lifestyles is now overwhelming. Let's talk about it! Please join the conversation with Sister2Sistah and guest speaker Shameeka Hunt.

The creator of KeepMeTight® shapewear didn’t have time to agonize over her midsection after having 2 children. As a wife, mother and businesswoman, her days were spent worrying about project deadlines and spit-ups, not crunches and sit-ups. So she did the math, 2 kids + 2 C-sections + 1 busy career equals a mommy who needs her body back and fast. But how? Like most women, she turned to shapewear to fix her problem.

After an exhaustive search, she discovered that finding a good shaper for the tummy area was a challenge. The fabric quality, comfort level and amount of support weren’t always on the mark. Realizing the need for everyday shapewear that smooths the most stubborn pooch or muffin top, stays in place and feels natural - the idea behind KeepMeTight® was born!

Through months of research, fabric analysis, and rigorous product testing, the wife and busy mother of two designed a prototype of the first KeepMeTight® product - the Hour Glas. The Hour Glas and all products to follow are adjustable, breathable, made with cotton, and is super comfortable. KeepMeTight® proved to be the founder’s best creation, well, besides her beautiful babies!

    Ladies,

My advice is to stop making excuses for your lack of activity. Surround yourself with others who are doing better than you on this journey and once you get it help someone else. Set realistic goals for yourself. Understand that it takes time!! Pills and fad diets will not get you to where you need to be. And most importantly, Love yourself at EVERY step.

The Bodacious Movement with Chanta "Shasee" Davis Presents "Catfished"

    in Women

The Bodacious Movement with Chanta "Shasee" Davis Home of "The Women's Roundtable"

The Bodacious Woman Movement Presents: The Women's Round Table

This week's topic: Are You Being Catfished: How Do We Decipher Lovers from Liars?

A catfish is someone who pretends to be someone else through some type of Social Media. This person completely assumes a fake identity and goes the extra mile to make their victim believe that they are exactly who they say they are.

Catfish victims usually end up falling in love with a person that does not exist. For example, a woman may think she is in love with a male model type and in actuality it is a teenage girl behind that computer screen.

Have you or anyone you know been catfished?

Bodaciously leave your comments at www.facebook.com/sister2sistahtalk

The Bodacious Woman Movement was created to promote, honor, and encourage the celebration of womanhood. Consistently, women have fought against all odds to survive, raise families, and pushed to bring about impactful changes in our communities- while making many sacrifices that go unknown and unrecognized. This movement will recognize women who have risen above social and cultural practices, women that are overcoming barriers to achieve a breakthroughs, and most importantly honoring the need for self care and cultivation.

    in Women

    Home of "The Women's Roundtable"

The Bodacious Woman Movement is proud to announce our very first guest... Sistah Dee

Born LaTasha Danielle Mayes in 1977, Sistah Dee is a Baltimore, Maryland native with a genuine, Southern style of hospitality. She credits much to her parents, who raised her in a Christian home. Although the teenaged Sistah Dee made a harsh departure from the values she was taught and followed her friends in partying, drugs, crime and participating in a cult. She eventually returned to her roots. One night in October of 1998, on the side of her bed, she fell to her knees with the intention of crying out Lord, “Help Me!” What actually came out her mouth was, “Lord, Use Me!” Once realizing what she said, she agreed to that cry, asking God to help her. That night, the prodigal daughter had come home, surrendering to the Lord Jesus Christ.
