Studies have shown that writing for 15 or 20 minutes a day for four consecutive days can have a healing effect. It can help those dealing with illness or a transition or even help someone get to know themselves a little better. You can leave your mark, reveal your accomplishments or explain the obstacles that led you to where they are today. In Dr. Roberta Temes, “How to Write a Memoir in 30 Days” (Reader’s Digest, 2014), she provides readers with day-by-day instructions for creating and publishing their own personal story. This book can turn anyone into an author of their own life, helping readers learn how to become a memoirist in a short period of time. Whether the memoir is for yourself, family and friends, or the entire world, Temes explains the framework for creating and editing your very own piece of work.
Join me in conversation with Dr. Roberta Temes. Dr. Roberta is an accomplished author, editor and writing instructor, as well as a seasoned psychotherapist and psychology faculty member. She lectures around the country at corporate meetings, medical conferences and health spas. Dr. Temes' newest book is How to Write a Memoir in 30 Days.
In today's busy world, we have so many ways to share our lives but it's rare to share our whole story. The disease of busyness can get in the way of sharing your story. Why do we need to tell our stories? Telling your story is not just for the benefit of others but also yourself. What is a story? What is the cancer story? What is YOUR story? Join Dr. Ken Weizer are he shares his thoughts on one of his passions - storytelling.

Do you have a tendancy to keep others as far as possible from knowing your old "story"?
Are you afraid to share your "story", worrying that if people knew where you'd been, they wouldn't want to work with you?
Is it painful for you to be completely vulnerable, and share your authentic journey with others?
In this show, we will take a look at how many clues to finding your ideal clients are hidden in your own journey. In fact, the people who will resonate with you the most are the ones who are in the turmoil or struggle of where you once were. You see the gifts in your past. You see how much you've grown as a result of those old struggles. Now it's your turn to help others with their journey.
When you view your own story as the springboard for helping others, you are actually allowing your own "mess" to become your "message". It draws people in, and because you have been vulnerable and have shared where you've been, people are drawn to you. They feel like they already know, like, and trust you.
We will use EFT Tapping on clearing your fears and hesitation around feeling vulnerable as you share your "story".
