Amir Khan vs. Chris Algieri Controversial Review

    in Sports

Amir Khan was tested in his match up against Chris Algieri in the main event of the PBC on Spike telecast at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It was a much more difficult fight than many expected, and a lot more entertaining as well.

Khan was sharp early as the jab worked well behind the right hand. Algieri was utilizing head movement, something he’s been criticized for in the past, but Khan was accurate. Khan was brilliant with his combinations and he rarely faltered in form, even when he was putting something extra on the end of a rally.

The Race Trim MotorSports Hour #24

    in Sports

It’s Sunday. It’s Race Day. There’s talk of a “Monster.” Nonetheless, the guys are in the Frat House Sports Garage . . . with the coffee . . . and, the donuts . . . and, they’re talking about everything on wheels.

Last week’s “Greatest Day in Racing” tops the list as Uncle Mark and Sidekick run around to F-1 in Monaco; the Indianapolis 500; and finally Carl Edwards gets his first NASCAR race win of the season at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

But, THIS week it’s the “Monster Mile” of Dover International Speedway, and thoughts on whether Joe Gibbs Racing may have ALL of its drivers in “The Chase” as today marks the exact mid-point of the NASCAR season.

The guys though are also joined by registered NASCAR Media member, Sirius XM Radio announcer, and racetrack PA Announcer Mike Neff. Don’t worry though; they’ll be plenty of time for Uncle Mark’s Over the Wall, Sidekick’s NASCAR Fantasy Picks, and new choices for everyone’s Eat-My-Dust Picks!

The Frat House Sports Garage is BACK OPEN on Sunday and the coffee is flowing . . . you BETTER bring plenty of donuts . . . and your phone calls to 347 – 826 – 9964!

American Daily Review: Divide & Conquer

    in Politics Conservative

Constitution Corner: Overriding vetoes; Rand Paul emphatically demonstrates that he is, after all, his father's son; Senate GOP backing plan to extend ObamaCare subsidies...in exchange for gutting ObamaCare itself; Of course: Unions seek exemption from Louisiana minimum wage hike they shoved down Louisiana business's throats; Barack Obama nationalizes water, or "Our puddles belong to him"; Yet another Greek bailout is imminent, which illustrates, metaphorically and literally, why the term "Greek" is a salacious double entendre; Another "negative GDP" quarter, another set of the same old Obama excuses; Terrorist Cuba off State's terror list, North Korean cyberwarriors, and Red China annexes the South China Sea; Leftist dhimmis redefine free speech and the First Amendment as "terrorism"; The inherent nature of bipartisan free trade agreements, and whether what we gain in economic growth is worth the price of what the libs insert into the fine print.

And, in the third hour of the Saturday Afternoon Extravaganza (4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific) on Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs on KMET 1490 AM:

If a federal appellate court upholds a lower federal court injunction against an illegal, unconstitutional Executive amnesty order that the president continues to ignore, does it make a sound?; House Republicans grovel before Loretta Lynch over Lois Lerner, like they did Eric Holder before her; The "Is Obama incompetent or malevolent?" question rearises over live anthrax shipments and IRS hacking; Do we have equality before the law or don't we?  Not if the Black Klan gets its way; and how the Left and the Right commemorate Memorial Day.

Amir Khan vs. Chris Algieri Preview

    in Sports

In just a couple days, Premier Boxing Champions returns to Spike TV, in Brooklyn, from the Barclays Center, to present Amir Khan vs. Chris Algieri. On the originally made card, the co-main event was supposed to be Paulie Malignaggi squaring off against Danny O’Connor. However, with Malignaggi getting an eye injury just a couple weeks ago, the fight was called off. O’Connor ended up fighting, and winning, against Chris Gilbert last week, and the fight was replaced with Bryan Vasquez facing Javier Fortuna for the vacant WBA Junior Lightweight Title.
