Interview with John Turner
Topics of conversation:
The comfort a good book can give Collecting the Human Experience Life, Simplicity and Poetry The Ever-enduring quality of the written word John Turner is originally from the State of Ohio, where he grew up playing sports with his brothers in a small town on the outskirts of Cleveland. He moved out west to California, where he currently lives with his wife in Santa Clara Valley.
From a small town 45 miles southwest of Cleveland, Ohio, John Turner grew up in a large family. His mother, whom he loved so dearly, died in 2003.
His book, Take This Journey With Me, is the first of many of the many fiction and nonfiction he plans to write. This, his first book, is one with 100 hundred chapters in what is essentially 100 poems. As a book of poetry it explores situations and emotions that we all can relate to as fellow citizens on this planet we call Earth.
Growing up with little means, and in a small town, offered him the opportunity to analyze the way life was and the way it is. His perspective, although expressed poetically in this book, is not so unique and not just his perspective alone. He understands that a universal audience will be able to relate to the words written as well as appreciate the sentiment in which they were written.
John Turner spent much of his early childhood with his brothers; playing all kinds of sports. But the one that they all enjoyed playing the most was basketball which he also played in youth baseball leagues, as a youth. But some of his most fond memories were sitting around with his brothers, making up stories to tell to the others, and then offering expressions as to who told the most compelling one at the time.

3 Tips for managing stress and feeling confident and calm by Barb Schmidt author, THE PRACTICE
1. Meditation- The first tip I always suggest is meditation. Starting your day in stillness and peace is setting the tone for your whole day. In a five minute meditation you are training your mind by placing your attention on your breath, not engaging the thoughts, practicing being patient, and spending time with yourself, connecting with that deep place of calmness and strength. This time in the morning grounds you as you go into your day with the knowing you are carrying this peace with you. You’ve taken this precious time to be present with your breath; with yourself.
2. Breathe. Give yourself permission to Stop! Even in the most stressful or chaotic situations, I find that if I just take a small step back, close my eyes and focus on my breath, for just a minute, I find peace and relief. Many times we get caught up with the whirlwind of life and forget to breathe! Having this one small tip in your back pocket can bring so much clarity to your life.
3. Stay in the present moment. Do not allow your mind to wander back to what has already transpired or forward to the “what ifs” of the future. Gently bring your mind back to the present, with your breath, an affirmation or your sacred mantra, to what is right now, and tackle any problem you may be experiencing from there. You are in control of your own mind, produce thoughts that are beneficial for your life in this very moment

Join your Host Pamela Marie Edmunds for tonight's show as she interviews Author Rasha. They will be discussing Rasha's book "A Journey to Oneness" and the process that she has gone through to receive the information from Oneness.
More About Rasha;
A day modern-day spiritual Messenger. Rasha has worked as a courier of Divine guidance for over 25 years. In February 1998, she began an extraordinary dialogue with the universal Presence, ?Oneness?- the Divinity we all share and some refer to as ?God.? Word for word, Rasha transcribed a vast body of spiritual understandings that give us a new level of insight into the mystery we call ?life.? These teachings empower us to take a quantum leap into our own inner depths and totally transform our lives- and our world.
Author of Oneness, A Journey to Oneness, and The Calling, Rasha awakened to her inner-calling in 1987 and begun documenting the revelations that serve as the foundation for her work. In the process, she was taken step by step through the sacred journey to Oneness and through the life-altering changes that are shaking the foundation of today's world. As an emerging spiritual Master with a profound message, Rasha is not affiliated with any established spiritual path, Guru, or religion. Her teachings are universal and focus on the experience of the Divinity within each of us. She has dedicated her life to addressing the profound transformation of consciousness that is the hallmark of these times.
American by birth, Rasha has lived in India since 2002. There, at the foot of the mystical mountain, Arunachala, her life is filled with joy of transcribing the words of Oneness. www.onenesswebsite.com
