Known as “The Micro-Entrepreneur’s Mentor,” Susan Baroncini-Moe has been mentoring entrepreneurs and small business owners for over fifteen years. A veteran of the web industry, Susan has leveraged her unique fusion of business and technological knowledge, her experience in the personal growth industry, and her incredible brainstorming capabilities to transform businesses around the globe.
Specializing in working with micro-entrepreneurs (a word she coined to refer to businesses owned and operated by one or two people) in the service industry, Susan works with clients on four continents and is a sought-after trainer, business and marketing consultant, and public speaker. She holds a Master’s degree in social psychology, was trained by Nightingale-Conant, and is a certified practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming. She has read over 1,500 books on business, entrepreneurship, marketing, branding, sales, personal growth, creative thinking, and peak performance.
She has started successful businesses in both the profit and non-profit sectors, and has worked in academia and corporations. She has interviewed some of the most successful entrepreneurs, bestselling authors, and experts for her podcast, Business in Blue Jeans Radio, and has self-published three books and has been a featured contributor in two books.
Susan’s first entrepreneurial venture was a grape Kool-Aid stand in her front lawn (because everyone else was doing lemonade) when she was six. As a teenager, she ran a nannying and lawn care empire in her neighborhood. Because of how she has structured her businesses, she has traveled the globe and has tried over 100 hobbies and pasttime.

Off The Cuff: An Intimate Conversation w/Susan Baroncini-Moe

    in Self Help

Off The Cuff is just another innovative format from the PI Social Media Network where we eschew the traditional or classic interview style and instead seek to simply connect with our special guests in much the same way that friends do over a cup of coffee at the local cafe.
It is an intimate setting where the conversation will flow in a direction that reflects the feel as much as the facts of the story we are covering.
This week I welcome to the show Susan Baroncini-Moe.
When I first encountered Susan Baroncini-Moe it was in the virtual realms of Facebook. What caught my attention was her catchy "Business in Blue Jeans" tag line in that it reminded me of the old Neil Diamond Song . . . upbeat and fun. Maybe this is what Susan meant when she talks about creating "a distinct brand and a clear marketing strategy to develop a profitable business."
Today Baroncini-Moe is going through a transformation of her own built around what she call the 7 Lessons.
Tonight we will find out what these seminal lessons are and, how she believes her diverse life experiences can help to reignite the belief in the American entrepreneurial dream.

And sure, the self-publishing game is an easy out, but most people know that a real book deal from a real publishing house is what builds true credibility in the marketplace.
So how do you become one of those elite authors who has actually gotten a signed book deal from a real publisher?
Susan will share with us her experiences with getting her books published. Be prepared to take notes!

Forever in Blue Jeans: Relaxing Into Prosperity With Susan Baroncini-Moe

    in Business

    Money Talks
But it can't sing and dance
    And it can't walk
As long as I can have you here with me
    I'd much rather be
    Forever in Blue Jeans, Babe

Forever in Blue Jeans by Neil Diamond (1979)

When I first encountered Susan Baroncini-Moe it was in the virtual realms of Facebook. What caught my attention was her catchy "Business in Blue Jeans" tag line in that it reminded me of the old Neil Diamond Song . . . upbeat and fun.

Maybe this is what Susan meant when she talks about creating "a distinct brand and a clear marketing strategy to develop a profitable business." After all, if she can generate interest and traffic for her own enterprise, imagine what she can do for you.

Fun aside, I can often recall the at times daunting challenges I faced as a small business entrepreneur, especially the first time around.

I am sure that many of you can relate to those middle of the night, am I the only one in the world feeling this loneliness state of being. You know, the does anyone know I am here with a great product or service, will I be able to make the month's bills and . . . this is when the combination of no sleep collides with too much caffeine . . . all I need is a killer marketing plan and clients will be beating down my doors. A kind of cutting out the middleman by "feeding the mayonnaise directly to the tuna fish" creative surge.

The rough seas of being owner, boss and employee all rolled-up into one can be even more frustrating when you have what you believe is a paradigm-shifting offering that seems to generate excitement but little else.

In this segment we talk with Susan Baroncini-Moe about her "Business in Blue Jeans" and "No Suits Allowed" concepts and what it means to truly "relax into prosperity."

So for all you erstwhile and budding entrepreneurs, unplug the coffee machine, fluff up your pillows and pack up your worries as Susan will provide her secrets to business success and a good night's sleep.

Adorable Scoundrels, Now they’re a book!

You’ll recognize your own toddlers (past or present) in the charming illustrations of Susan Robinson, who has two 3-year-olds of her own, and in the truth-telling verses of author, poet, and playwright Howard Eisenberg who met them first as toddlers of his own and of his much beloved late wife Arlene, who co-wrote the parenting bible, What to Expect When You’re Expecting.

Arlene, and the hundreds of toddlers he met with her, became Howard’s inspiration for a treasury of charming Adorable Scoundrel poems that make you smile when you feel like crying. After hearing them at Arlene’s lectures parents would ask, “Where can I get the book?” There was no book then, but there is now.
