    Survival Skills and Helpful Plants

    in Self Help

Most mass media hypnotized urban dwellers know very little about survival skills. There are basics of natural health and survival that even children should know. There are helpful plants that may be growing in your yard that could provide food, protection and other benefits. This knowledge could be crucial in an emergency situation. An exploration of fields and woods is very worthwhile, to learn to identify nature’s problems like poison ivy, ticks, stinging insects and sunburn, as well as edible plants and medicinal herbs.

Healing Part II: Dr. Dixon's Survival Skills Syllabus (for Depression)

    in Psychology

Unveiling the truth, stopping the trauma, healing the wounded. Dr. Terry Dixon wishes to reach as many as possible with answers to unanswered questions that most live with each day. As a culture of people we must be responsible enough to speak up and address what is wrong and right and not agree with everything that comes to us. Therefore it is my purpose to minister to all who has a hope of returning to the roots or righteousness. Be prepared to be challenged by Black Issues, because a demand is placed upon us to make emotional, family and religious changes for the betterment of our future. We must be real and honest about who we are and what responsibilities rest upon our shoulders to gather together a people who has experience years of pain and rejection.

Dr. Terry Dixon locks arms with Sister Michelle Edmonds, M.A., M.Ed., also a trained counseling psychologist. The goal is to address some of the emotional issues plaguing the body of Christ, specifically within  the  African American community, where these issues are often neglected and not olpenly discussed.
