However, my degrees in Biology and Nursing matched with my previous experience as a high school science teacher and registered nurse forces me to use scientific reasoning first at all investigations. This is why I created the motto, "We seek the NORMAL in paraNORMAL." However, I still recognize that science can't explain everything and my goal is to help those that are experiencing activity that defies science! That is why I created SSP in 2010. Being a paranormal investigator has allowed me to answer many questions i had growing up as a child and has given me a whole new outlook on the paranormal world!

Interview with Author/Actor Tra Verdejo and Author/Publisher Ni'cola Mitchell

    in Books

Tra Verdejo is CEO of Street Scriptures Publishing. “We are a company that plans to not only change the game but intend to change the negative perception of street/urban literature. Right now with so many books hitting the shelves, the questions are starting to surface; why do all urban books sound or have the same concept? We are here to dismiss the doubts, make the world recognize our talent and respect us as authors. Street Scriptures’ diverse approach will breathe new life into the urban literary world. So brace yourselves because the movement has just begun.”

Street Scriptures Publishing was founded by Tra Verdejo, a Harlem native, who was born in Puerto Rico. Tra became frustrated with big name companies not extending an opportunity to turn his dreams into a reality. He grew tired of trying to make “The Man” understand his struggles or why he didn’t have the funds to afford a professional presentation. Tra, started a company that would be for the underdogs, individuals with talent, who are desperately looking for one shot. SSP was created to provide that avenue. SSP is not interested in changing your style or limiting your creative ideas; our sole interest is to expose your talent so that you can be successful at its highest level. SSP’s first book that has been released is called “Born in the Streets but Raised in Prison (the autobiography of our young generation)”. It was written by Tra Verdejo. This book is blowing everyone who reads it away. The responses and reviews that we are receiving are unbelievable. Tra's second book "Corrupt City" was release 2009. Corrupt City2 is available now at Amazon.com. Tra listen to his fan who were growing tired of these street novels that were all about shoot'em up bang bang.
Publisher/Author Ni'Cola Mitchell is author of "Over and Over Again" and "The Appetizer: When You're Not His Main Course" (available at Amazon.com)and will also be joining us.
