    Favorite Fandom Characters & Stuff

    in Entertainment

    Jilly Asks:

What do you think makes the fans zoom in on a character and go "Yup, that's the one. That's the favorite!" Certainly all characters are liked but someone, but usually a show or movie has a character that stands above the rest.

From my perspective: Supernatural has Dean, Teen Wolf is Stiles, NCIS is Tony, Criminal Minds is Spencer... shows like SG1 and SGA I could argue it was either of the two leads.

But what is it about those characters that makes us sit up and take notice, and more importantly, how to bring that level of interest to an original character?

    in Entertainment

After the death of his submissive, Colonel John Sheppard spent four years alone. Grief and anger pushed him and made him even more ambitious in his career. Taking Dr. Rodney McKay into his life and his bed was supposed to be a political maneuver– but then he met the man and everything he thought he wanted changed in an instant.

Dr. Rodney McKay has spent a year alone after divorcing his Domme and cutting her collar off in public. He doesn’t know if he’s ready for a new Dom but he does know he wants Atlantis and Colonel John Sheppard’s collar is his path to the city of the Ancients. Then the Marine put his hands on him and Rodney realizes that he’s already half way to risking his heart again.

Neither man was prepared for the explosive combination of their sexual dynamic and the intense emotional connection that would burn between them like an inferno.

Today I will interview the young man who came up with this idea to increase the number of students enter college. Join me as I speak with Daryl Bellamy.
Darryl Bellamy Jr. is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While on campus he was involved heavily with the Leadership Development Office, SGA, and his fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. At the end of his senior year he turned down all job interviews and decided to start his own company, Kollege Koncierge, with the goal of assisting freshmen during their freshmen year.

    ARLO NEEDS GLASSES

1 out of 5 school-age children need eyeglasses and one beloved children’s author is here to show them just how lucky they are.

Going from two eyes to four isn't a bummer, says Barney Saltzberg, the creative force behind nearly 40 popular children's books. In fact, it's a rich adventure.

Just ask Arlo, a shaggy, free-spirited dog who loves to play catch – until one day, he can’t see the ball anymore. He needs glasses!
