    Changing Sex Offender Laws

    in Politics Progressive

Blog Talk Radio Show topic: FRANK LINDSAY: WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

Following our theme of "Restorative Justice," this show will focus on a registrant whose crime occurred over thirty years ago.

Frank Lindsay is an author, civil rights activist and supporter of organizations that help to change sex offender laws. Over the last several years, as California laws change he is now subject to follow new laws applied retroactively, even though he has proven to be a model citizen. How has he demonstrated using Restorative Justice? What has he done to show he is no longer a threat to society?

    Changing Sex Offender Laws

    in Politics Progressive

Our next show is Sunday, May 11, at 8:00 pm (PST). This show will feature Dr. Jean Kennedy and Frank Juarez discussing the information they received from the last two shows entitled,  "Religion and Sex Offenders."

Our response to this broadcast was overwhelming, and the challenge sent out by Frank to any church organization to stand up and make a commitment to help sex offenders has not been met.

We encourage you to talk with your local church group and ask that important question, "What does my church do about sex offenders coming to my church?" If you practice true Christian principles, the answer should be obvious, and your organized religion will help anyone in need.

Remember, laws made for one group of people can easily be changed to attack you. You have the power to change this in our society and to change sex offender laws.

This show will feature Dr. Jean Kennedy and Frank Juarez. Our mission is to educate the public about sex offender issues affecting our nation and damaging our communities. We stand behind this statement, “Education heals hatred and fear.”

We invite you to listen and participate next week, April 13, 2014, as we review the shows we have talked about since this program began.

The statistics, facts and research we present is based on reports from the California Sex Offender Management Board, casomb.org, which was given the task of investigating the entire issue of sex offenders in California. They are the biggest advocate for changing and reforming sex offense laws.

The best way for us to shape the laws and minds of our community is to educate them. Please, tell others about our program and make a decision to be part of the solution, not the problem.
