The Group was organized in 1968 when Eddie and Albert Henry were in High School. They were then known as "The Stars of Harmony." As the Group grew in talent, experience and performance, the name was later changed to "the Southern Echoes, now, today, the Group is simply called "The Sensational Southern Echoes. All of the Group Members were born and reared in South Carolina.
The Group Recorded its first 45 Record in the Early 70's and their first CD in the 80's which included Hit Songs "Show me, Lord" on Expression Records, "Take your Burdens to the Lord" on Sing Gospel Records, and "Have a talk with Jesus" to name a few. They have been Writing and arranging most of Their Music since 1970. Just to name a few, The Columbia Outdoor Fest! Quartet Jubilee Showcase in Atlanta, GA, North Carolina Gospel Announcers GMWA Awards Banquet Showcase Raleigh NC, etc.

Sara Bendrick is a landscape designer who started as a DIYer by sewing clothes for her dolls and creating a worm farm. She's the host of DIY Network's "I Hate My Yard,' and has a degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

On the first half of our show we will feature internationally acclaimed musician and vocalist, Scotty Grand. Commonly known as Scotty G, Grand whohas been on the music scene since the age of 10 when he appeared at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY and was named one of the best kids in the nation. Since then, Scotty G has been involved in numerous music ventures that has allowed him to work with such accomplished artists as Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, and Jordin Sparks, just to name a few. Scotty Grand now readies his Debut LP, "A Songwriter's Right".
The second half of our show will feature the sensational vocalist and composer, Andrea Wood. Andrea resides in New York City by way of Washington, D.C. Her music has been described as simultaneously accessible and interesting, highlighting her stylistic versatility and impressive vocal ability. Andrea's debut album "Dhyana", released in 2011, was widely reviewed and enjoyed international play. She and her band have played at notable venues including the Kennedy Center, Constitution Hall, and The National Center for the Performing Arts in Mumbai, India. Andrea has also been featured on several albums including a recent recording with Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs N' Harmony. Andrea is now working to complete her sophomore album "Kaleidoscope" for a spring 2015 release.
