Should C.R.A.I.D. Be Revised? With special guest Imam Ahmed Majeed of Milw, WI

    in Lifestyle

THIS IS A REPEATED SHOW THAT ORIGINALLY AIRED OCTOBER 19, 2014

C.R.A.I.D. is an aconym for "Committee for the Removal of ALL Images (that attempt to portyeay the) Divine!"

Imam Ahmed Majeed of Milwaukee, WI will be our Special Guest. He will join us in the 2nd hour of our program to discuss this topic of "Reviving CRAID".

There was a Facebook discussion titled "Reviving CRAID" discussing the need for public conversations on racial images in worship. This noble effort is investigating the best methods for reviving CRAID in 2014. Imam W. Deen Mohammed gave us C.R.A.I.D early in his leadership and it was quite effective.

Another very popular Facebook group is titled "GIVE GOD NO COLOR." (https://m.facebook.com/groups/136138373208123)
    =======================================================
Recently one of our Focolare friends shared with me a beautiful report that occurred while they were planning for their annual "Day of Christian Unity". The company that supplies the artwork for this special day sent them a very; as she described it, "a very white American looking image of Jesus." However due to her being a part of our FB group "GIVE GOD NO COLOR" and her love for our concern she called the supply company and told them that they could not accept such an image or any racial depictions. This is very significant. We thank Allah for bringing Imam W. Deen Mohammed and the blessed lady Chiara Lubich and their respective communities together as ONE! This is a way to advance the message of C.R.A.I.D. to an audience that we could probably never reach.

Join WORDS MAKE PEOPLE on Sunday May 31, 2015 repeat our October 19, 2014 show where as we discuss C.R.A.I.D; its history and relevancy today

ZENIA GILG’S SCHEDULE 1 LAWSUIT & A BOLD NEW INITIATIVE IN SAN BERNARDINO

    in News

For the first time in 50 years, a judge held a hearing examining the classification of marijuana under the 1970 Controlled Substances Act. On April 15, U.S. District Judge Kimberly Mueller announced that she would not overturn the law stating “At some point in time, a court may decide this status to be unconstitutional, but this is not the court and not the time.”

Explaining what happened is the show’s first guest Zenia Gilg, the lead attorney in the lawsuit seeking to have the law overturned. Ms. Gillig will provide the background on how the case came before Judge Mueller, the basis for their legal arguments on why the law is unconstitutional, why the Judge ruled against them and what effect the ruling will have.

The city of San Bernardino is bankrupt but that hasn’t kept them from spending money they don’t have trying to close down medical marijuana dispensaries. William Cioci, president of the Brownie Mary Democratic Club of San Bernardino, has filed an initiative with the city that would set up a committee to develop an ordinance that would regulate or ban recreational and medical marijuana facilities.

To be known as The Jesse Act in memory of William’s son James Cioci, the San Bernardino Marijuana Clarity Act seeks to bring some common sense to the financially stressed city.  Mr. Cioci will delve into San Bernardino’s tortured history with medical marijuana dispensaries and how his initiative intends to address both the city’s financial and legal problems.

Live Healthy you and I: Aromatherapy Oils for treatment of Eczema

    in Music

Choose Organic And Virgin Coconut Oil For Eczema Natural Treatment

It is best to select coconut oil that is both organic and virgin, as use for a natural treatment for eczema.

Organic Coconut Oil. Dry eczema skin can be a symptom of a highly toxic body. Hence, the last thing you want to do is to use a product that is not produced organically.

Virgin Coconut Oil. Virgin coconut oil is made by using fresh coconut meat with little or no processing, or what is called non-copra.

Most commercial grade coconut oils are produced from copra. Most of the copra, the meat of the coconut, is dried under the sun in the open air, where it gets exposed to insects and moulds. The standard end product made from copra is RBD coconut oil. RBD means refined, bleached, and deodorized. Both high heat and chemicals (e.g. solvent extractions) are used in this method.

A fragrant smell is characteristic of virgin coconut oils. Copra-based refined coconut oils have no taste or fragrance due to the refining process.

    GETTING HEALTHY FOR ASCENSION!

    in Spirituality

Indeed!  It is time we get serious about preparing your bodies for Ascension!

The Galactics' technology tells us 90% to 95% of the surface population will be qualified for Ascension. And for the first time, this mass Ascension will be done - taking your bodies with you!

Already, your bodies are changing from carbon-based to crystal-silicon!  Many have noticed their taste in food is changing - dramatically! As your bodies change, they require a fresh new diet. Many are dropping weight, unexpectedly... also, a good sign.

And some are still dealing with difficult body conditions.

I and the Galactics have approved a select group of food supplements that are already impacting people's health.  Pain is leaving. Lab tests confirm system improvements..

Ascension is an inside job. Only you can create your Ascension. And your bodies are a big part of it. Let's take the first step and find the easiest route for each of you... and get started!

    See you Saturday!

OBAP 's ACE Academy and Remembering James Jamesie Brewster

    in Culture

Welcome OBAP (Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals)  Aviation Career Education Academy (ACE). OBAP ACE Academies are co-sponsored with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other select organizations or institutions.

Their academies include many interesting educational activities and field trips. During an OBAP academy, students can expect to participate in activities that feature STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) components. They also include trips to aviation related facilities and receive tours of areas the general public normally never see. Also, their academies offer students the opportunity to perform actual flights in a general aviation aircraft. Traditionally, these flights are easily the highlights of a student's experience.

    *********

Born on St. Croix in 1929, James Jamesie Brewster is known throughout the Caribbean as the undisputed King of Scratch Band Music. He is known for his humorous, provocative and playful ompositions and for his lively performances. He has performed throughout the Caribbean and in Europe and has recorded a number of albums over the past fifty years.

Surprisingly, when Jamesie was younger, his father only allowed him to play percussion and not guitar. Jamesie was determined to prove to his father that he was capable of playing guitar and so made his own out of a sardine can and a piece of white pine lumber.

With a hand-carved keyboard and key-head and strings made out of twine from an old sack of flour, this guitar has become his signature instrument. In the six decades that have followed, Jamesie has continued to use this type of guitar when performing and recording music, although not exclusively.

Jamesie is a Crucian from the instant he wakes up and in the way he eats, dresses, sits, smokes, talks. He makes kitchen implements out of mahogany, makes musical instruments out of food tins, makes melee out of news.
