    About Michael Wells

Mic started writing songs in his mid-teens. Many of his songs have been high on the internet charts. His songs have been played by many radio stations like WUSB, and internet stations like Butterfly Radio and IndieSpectrum. His song “Random Kisses” was chosen for the end credits of the documentary, “Cut Poison Burn”. Mic is a multi-talented artist. His voice is versatile and expressive. He plays acoustic and electric guitar and piano/synth keyboards. He sings and plays original songs and cover songs from the heart. He is a well known Second Life top artist, and plays live gigs in locals clubs too. His improvisations are legendary. He is becoming well known for his originals and has over three hours of original songs, and tons of cover songs ready to play. He is a pioneer in online music, and regularly collaborates and dual/triple streams over the internet with his band, Unresolved. Add to his other talents his engaging personality and sense of humor and you get a heck of a good show.

Michael Wells (aka Mrmulti Writer) and his partner Susan Naples (aka Meetu Hannu-Writer) perform monthly at Gallery Rouge and all over the grid in Second Life.

    in Music

Talk! with Marie Presents New books, Music by Offiong Bassey, upcoming shows on Concert Window & Second Life Events. Follow us on Twitter.

    About Offiong Bassey

Singer/songwriter and poet, Offiong Bassey, is an exciting artist who draws upon the numerous influences that have touched her life. As the first generation from her Nigerian family born in the U.S., the soul, jazz, and gospel music of America reside within her just as comfortably as the musical traditions of West Africa. She brings to them her unique ear for harmonies and phrasing, her ground-shaking, power vocals, and her unmatched versatility to create music that is fresh, inspiring, and just plain fun. Her talent has garnered praise from diverse audiences, including South African youth in Johannesburg, attendees at the U.S. Africa Business Summit in Washington D.C., to Jazz enthusiasts at the world-renowned Scullers Jazz Club and RegattaBar venues in her hometown of Boston. She was honored to perform for the Obong (King) of Calabar, Nigeria and the Governor of Cross River State, Nigeria.

July 4th Celebration, SLB12, Book Poetry & Live Music in Second Life

    in Current Events

Happy 4th! Listen to my new music discovery right at the start of the show. I accidently found The Painted Pianos-Go (Ft. Olmos) on SoundCloud. This week, I made it to Me & You with Mic and Meetu Writer on Concert Window and Tranquil Cafe. On Friday, I popped in The Lost Unicorn Gallery event for the Magical Collection by Pam Estonia and Magissa Denver. Seth Regan (aka Mankind Tracer) was the featured artist. To end my Friday night, I stopped by Nashville Row for James Olmos concert which continued until wee hour of Saturday morning. James Olmos is one of those rare musicians who actually enjoys engaging with his fans. I was beyond amazed when he turned one of my poems into a song which he sang live! The highlight of my crazy week. Red Heaven performed their farewell show at Templemore in Second Life. I hope it's only for the summer and the band will be back in SL before the end of 2015. There are lot of festivities and hunts going on in Second Life this month. Be sure to make it to some of the live music shows and literary events going on. As always, Sunday is packed with open mic poetry from morning to night. Be sure to follow me on twitter and Blogtalkradio.
