Beyond Awakening: How can we embrace the human experience?

    in Spirituality

These days, more than ever before, an intensification of energies is available that compels us to consciously collaborate in waking up out of the dream of separation.  It’s a new frequency that demands our yes, because nothing less will do if we are to successfully survive and thrive, both as individuals and as a species.  This yes has nothing to do with willfulness; it’s not a big shout of “I can do it.”  On the contrary, it’s a profoundly silent yes that chooses to meet life from the luminous wholeness of an inner dimension of consciousness.

Rooted in the stillness of our being-nature, what is so unspiritual about opening to the movement of our life’s journey?  Authentic awakening is not static; it’s a fresh moment-to-moment awareness of that which is unfolding within our direct experience.  And what’s unfolding for so many of us within contemporary culture is an increasing complexity, interconnectivity, and creativity at an exponential rate.  Today we have the opportunity to become so much more than previous generations had ever dreamt of: for most of us, there are more resources, more technologies, more information, and more wisdom available to us.  What is so unspiritual about opening to embrace this evolutionary movement of our becoming-ness?

Let's explore the scenery on this leg of our Journey together in today's session of Da Coconut Wireless show!

The Romance Bookmark with Renee Bernard presents: Suzan Tisdale

    in Books

Love, laughter and books always have a place at The Romance Bookmark and this week, I'm happy to say, I have a comfy chair ready for none other than Suzan Tisdale, self-proclaimed Storyteller, Author and Cheeky Wench.  www.suzantisdale.com  And I'm not too humble to admit that she had me at Cheeky...but the Wench thing pretty much sealed her fate as my new favorite and top of the TBR pile!  I'm not sure why Scottish romances are just curling my happy toes these days... (It could be the kilts but I keep telling myself that it has to to do with the lovely scenery and my admiration for cultural frugality and self-reliance.  I'm a terrible liar.)  Come pull up a chair of your own and meet Suzan Tisdale! And then get ready to hit that "Buy" button, dear friends, because you'll want to load up on her wonderful series...

GATEWAY FOURSQUARE CHURCH 2015 OUTREACH MISSION WITH RUSSELL VOIGT

    in Religion

Russell Voigt is purpose driven.  He has lived in Salem, Oregon for 38 years, married with two children.  He is surrounded by the immpeccable scenery of the Cascade Range-East, Oregon Coast Range-West and Calapooya Mountains, South in the center of Williamette Valley.  He equates this mountainous surrounding with the oasis of God's creation, a sanctuary.  He enjoys activities such as golf and soccer, but his greatest passion is being a servant leader for the Lord.

He is fulfilling that servant leadership passion at Gateway Foursquare by serving as a Board member, Community Outreach Chair and AwakeMeNow Workshop/Retreat Chair.

Gateway Foursquare Church vision is to connect people to Christ by cultivating an environment of worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and evangelism.  The Church mission by the Grace of God is to transform the spiritual climate of the Northwest by equipping believers, developing leaders, planting new churches and sending missionaries into the world to spread the Good News.  Gateway Foursquare 2015 theme is Know. Grow. and Go.

Gateway Foursquare Church believes happy is the man who knows the Word of God and lives it.  Russell stated that Bible Study is significant at the Church.  Gateway Foursquare Church is currently using the book titled "The Story" by Max Lucado & Randy Frazee to help the congregation better understand God's word.  "The Story" is a book of selections from the Bible, arranged chronologically, that reads like a novel."

Russell said the Church believes you will discover yourself and God in this Bible Study, and truly experience God's love, hope, joy, prayer, peace, relationship, healing and freedom.

Gateway Foursquare Church is opened to everybody.  Pastor Greg Schaub, Senior Pastor (wife Stacey Schaub) - Sunday Services 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, 525 Idylwood Dr., Salem, OR.

Over the Top Cycling - Hoodoo 500 with Deb Bowling

    in Fitness

Deb Bowling joins us to discuss the 2015 Hoodoo 500 ultra-marathon bicycle race presented by Planet Ultra! The most epic and challenging ultracycling race, the Hoodoo 500 route passes through or around three National Parks, three National Monuments and several Utah State Parks. The scenery varies from majestic cliffs and striking red rock hoodoos to aspen and pine forests and high mountain meadows. All the best of Utah’s Color Country!

Geologically speaking, hoodoos are tall, skinny spires of rock that protrude from the bottom of arid basins and sedimentary rock. Mystically speaking, hoodoo means a magical spell; which is what the Hoodoo 500 experience will cast upon you. Come test yourself, and bring your lucky mojo…

Amazing scenery, quiet roads, epic climbs, exhilarating decents, and the best post race banquet with awards and prizes.

500+ mile Solo, Tandem, 2-Person, and 4-Person Relay Teams, raced non-stop or 3-day stage race. 300-mile Solo, Tandem and 2-Person Relay Teams, non-stop or 2-day stage race. Bring a crew or request an invite to race self-supported with use of our drop bag service.

Now lets be real we should all just live our lives and not worry about another person if so let it be for the right reasons so tune in and voice your opinion and similar situations to this topic!!
