    Angel Mechelle was raised a "military brat". She attended Neu-Ulm High School in Germany and graduated from Southeast High school in Bradenton Florida . She now resides in Virginia with her two children. Armed with an active imagination and a notion for DRAMA, Angel was finally able to share her love for story telling with the world when she accepted as a contributing author in the Shannon Holmes Anthology "Hood2Hood. Mr. Holmes was impressed with her talent and offered to publish her debut novel. The opportunity has opened many doors in the literary industry for Angel. She recently completed two short stories featured in the Anthologies "Flirt" and "Divas, Diamonds and Dollars". Her love of writing comes from a deep passion for story telling. She loves giving people something to relate to, a situation that allows them to analyze their own situation and sometimes look deep within themselves for the answer. Angel also loves to entertain. The characters she creates entertain readers, they can laugh at, cry with and hate the characters all at the same time. Sharing her vivid imagination with readers is what drives Angel.She has many characters and plots that run through her mind daily, this keeps her writing. Angel is currently working on summer releases which include Another Woman's Husband 2, A Woman's Worth (anthology) and Caught Up a collaboration with National Best Selling Author, Shannon Holmes.

    Ra’Mone Marquis is a native of the state of Florida. He received his Bachelors degree from Florida International University where he became a proud 2005 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He went on to receive his Masters degree from the University of Phoenix. Currently living in Melbourne, Florida; Ra’Mone cites Miami as his second home. Due to a desire to provide people with an uncensored, informative, and uninhibited place to learn and express one’s self, regarding everything sexuality; Ra’Mone created the website The Quis Box. It includes everything from a blog, discussion forum, videos, and more. He is also the Founder and President of True T.A.L.E.N.T.S. Foundation, Inc.; a 501c3 nonprofit that he started in 2011. Its mission is to mentor and enrich the youth of our communities, ages 13-18 years old.     Chatting it up with Stacey Convington

    Stacey Covington-Lee is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She has written multiple manuals and training guides for various companies and local government. However, it was her love for literature that led her to pin several short stories and three fictional novels. Her first published and well received novel, The Knife in My Back, was released by Delphine Publications November 2012. Her sophomore novel, The Knife In My Back II, was released July 2013. Continuing her exploration of love, friendship and betrayal, Stacey’s third novel, Bitter Taste Of Love, was released September 10, 2013.

    Chatting it up with Lashanta Charles

    LaShanta Charles was born and raised in the small town of Orangeburg, SC. She has always been an avid reader of all genres, but Urban / African American Fiction has always been her true love and is what inspired her to pursue a writing career. In high school, she began letting her classmates read the short stories that she would write and based off of their feedback, her passion for writing pushed her to become a published author. She published her debut novel, Lovely Lies, in 2013 and will release the sequel, Lovely Lies 2, in February 2014. Currently she is working in her third novel, Splitting Karma, along with other projects. In recognition of her work, LaShanta was named National Black Book Festival's 2013 Best New Author and was nominated for 2013 Breakout Author of the Year through the African American Literary Awards Show. Lovely Lies was also awarded Most Underrated Book of 2013 for the Literary Scream Awards.


    Currently she lives in Killeen, TX, with her husband and two children. She is pursuing a degree in English at Drury University and also serving in the US Army. Her hobbies include spending time with family, traveling, eating, and of course, writing. Her motto is “strive to excel, not to equal.”

    Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989,she began writing poetry as an outlet. She then converted her poetry into short stories.
