Today(Monday) on Blue Star Radio we will be interviewing Sarah Ocean.
Sarah is a spirited visionary leader. In writing, speaking and living out her integrity, her vision is through self-exploration, spirituality and a playful take on one’s self.
As a youngster Sarah was shy, empathic and wildly imaginative and introspective. Growing up with a struggling single-mother and alcoholic step father, a tyrannical environment of abuse was a regular existence. Over time, her passions became dulled by her constant state of fear and dis – ease. Her dreams became clouded, and her reality consisted of strategic survival and adaptation.
In her adolescent years, she suffered with chronic feelings of helplessness, apathy and a heavy heart. She was diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety Disorder, and ‘obsessive compulsive thinking’.
Today, Sarah has alchemized her life into a powerful means to help others. She’s experienced as a Clinical Counselor, Public Educator and Group Facilitator. Personally recognizing the significance of spirituality, human consciousness and alternative healing. Sarah is currently underway with her debut book ‘The Living Book‘ set to be published Fall 2015.
She does talks on The Secret to Radical Self Acceptance, Spirituality Made Easy for the Person Who Has ‘No Time’ and Play and Mindfulness in Self Care: Easy Living for the Helping Professional.

Every American needs to understand that the entire national press is controlled, and is simply giving you the "news" you are supposed to have. Very soon, all alternative sources of news, including this website, will be shut down. That time draws ever closer. "In order to put public opinion into our hands we must bring it into a state of bewilderment by giving expression from all sides to so many contradictory opinions and for such length of time as will suffice to make the [average person] lose their heads in the labyrinth and come to see that the best thing is to have no opinion of any kind, in matters political." [Protocol #5]
Who is the ultimate authority in a child's life - the parents or the State? When Dorothy Austin, mother of two sons, was falsely accused of having a psychological illness, she found herself in a seven year battle with the State of Illinois over custody of her son Shamir, then an eight year old child. Deprived of his mother after seven years, Shamir, now a 15 year old teenager, is desperate to come home. But the State simply will not let him go. Today, Dorothy Austin is fighting back. She has joined forces with supporters and other parents and launched a national organization: PROTECT, which stands for Parental Rights Organization To End Children's Tears. This organization was founded to raise money for legal fees for parents whose parental rights were wrongfully terminated, and to investigate and expose those attorneys, judges, and social service agency officials who knowingly make decisions that destructively tear families apart. Today, Ms. Austin discusses her fundraising efforts to enable her to hire the competent attorney who will help get her son Shamir back, and pursue punitive damages against those responsible for him being held hostage by the State for seven years. Her organization PROTECT will provide support for other parents in similar situations. Jerry Nicholas, father of six, shares his story of a 20 year battle for his parental rights. He exposes the economic incentive that makes State agencies become destroyers of children and families.
