CUTV News Radio spotlights Irene Jorgensen of Clear Your Cravings

    in Health

Burlington, Ontario – “It’s not what you eat, it’s what’s eating you,” says stress-less weigh-less expert Irene Jorgensen.

Irene is the founder of Clear Your Cravings, a weight loss coaching practice dedicated to teaching professional women struggling with food cravings and stress eating how to use their overeating as a gateway to weight loss and body confidence. As the creator of the 7 Steps to Your Natural Weight and Body Confidence System for Professional Women, Irene shows how to engage with overeating to control food instead of letting it control us.

“Most people try to ignore their overeating, but what’s underneath is still there and is constantly working at trying to get your attention through cravings,” says Irene. “We don’t deny emotional overeating; we explore it to determine the emotions at the root of our overeating."

Irene’s clients are typically women who have been dieting for years on-and-off and no matter what they do, they still struggle with losing weight. Irene helps her clients navigate the subconscious blocks that sabotage our progress: the food cravings; the stress-eating; the compulsive overeating.

Irene says she is an emotional overeater herself and spent her 20s on every diet imaginable. She spent the next twenty years studying emotional overeating, but it wasn’t until Irene discovered Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, that the final piece fell into place.

“EFT is a perfect tool to access our subconscious blocks,” says Irene. “Once we can identify what’s underneath the emotional eating, we use EFT to unlink the limiting beliefs, the blocks and clear the emotions."

Obama's ISIS Strategy Is Even Worse than You Think

    in Politics Conservative

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam. He is completing a book on the international challenges America faces in the 21st century.  His biweekly column appears at Front Page Magazine and his blog articles regularly appear at Family Security Matters, the Jewish Press, Times of Israel, Act for America and Right Side News, as well as daily at the Canada Free Press and a number of other outlets.

‘We cannot win this war by killing them’, Marie Harf said on MSNBC. Reversing thousands of years of battlefield experience in which wars were won by ‘killing them,’ the State Department spokeswoman argued that you can't defeat ISIS by killing its fighters. ‘We cannot kill our way out of this war,’ she said. ‘We need in the medium and longer term to go after the root causes that lead people to join these groups, whether it is lack of opportunity for jobs . . .’

Then I fell into a deep bond with him, because this is what gloriously food does sometimes. He is a spritely young guy named James, who comes from a long line of Italian Mama style chefs. James intuitively turned to veganism in order to heal himself of an enzyme deficiency, teaching himself to grow food and feed his own body and soul through cooking. Now he provide to New York's Elite.

Can African Americans Empower Africa To Stop The Spread of Terrorism?

    in Women

The kidnapping of Nigerian girls by Boko Haram  shocked the world but seemed to show the powerlessness of African officials to stop the spread of terrorist activities. In America the threat of a terrorist attack has been the reason for the extremes in security measures at airports and public places. But the only thing these measures seem to create is more fear and distrust among the people. What is at the root of these attacks? Is it the religion of Islam? Or is it the desperation of an impoverished, oppressed people? Our guests today discuss their global outreach efforts in Africa and reflect on the recent remarks by Min. Louis Farrakhan during his Savior's Day address about the spread of Terrorism and America's role in it.
