ExecuCare ARC, located in Norcross, Georgia, offers a revolutionary, science- based approach to freedom from addiction without the use of drugs to get off of drugs. ExecuCare administers an all-natural, nutrition-assisted detox called NTR Brain Restoration that utilizes a special formula of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and co-factors, which are administered intravenously and orally over a 10-day period by a registered nurse, under a doctor’s orders. NTR Brain Restoration brings the brain’s neurotransmitter levels back into balance, turns back on down-graded neurotransmitter sites, calms the nervous system, speeds up the healing process, eliminates cravings and minimizes withdrawal symptoms, all of which better prepare an individual for the next steps in permanent recovery. ExecuCare ARC offers NTR Brain Restoration as the detox step in recovery, followed by an intensive coaching program (www.execucarearc.com). Recovery Radio Fresno with Louis Angel presents Herb Winnett with Turning Points Quest house.
Herb writes "I am a Certified Addiction Specialist and have been working in the field for 23 years. I started out in the field at CAP, where I stayed for over 8 years and was the Senior Counselor in charge of the short term residential program. I then left to work for Turning Point Substance Abuse Treatment Unit, which was a 50 bed facility where men with parole violations could go in lieu of returning to prison. I stayed there for 3 years until the program closed due to state funding cuts. I was then placed at Turning Points Transitional Living Center (TLC) as Case Manager for their 30 bed coed Sober Living- Out Patient facility. I stayed there for 6 years and was then given an opportunity to become a Program Director at Turning Points Quest House. That was in 2008 and I'm still currently employed there. The Quest House is a 30 bed coed, structured, residential treatment facility for Substance Abuse and other co-occurring disorders. I like to think of the Quest House as a true recovery home with social model and therapeutic community aspects. It has a homey, family type atmosphere where everyone works together for the common goal of changing negative lifestyles into positive lifestyles. Our groups consist of drug education, relapse prevention, parenting, life skills, health education, self help support groups, anger management, women’s issues, men’s issues, process groups, breaking barriers, gardening and dog fostering. The Quest House and Turning Point are strong supporters of Sober Stock annually. The residents from the Quest House volunteer to help out during the entire event. The Quest House is always in charge of security and helping others set up for Sober Stock. Their address is 2731 W. Olive Fresno CA. 93728, or 559-233-5099
The NNIA presents Recovey Radio Fresno with Louis Angel.
This weeks guest speaker is Johnny Saldate from Fresno California. Johnny has a wonderful, powerfull testimony of recovery that he will be sharing with you. Johnny wrote " My name is Johnny Saldate, I was born and raised in Fresno Ca. I grew up in a single parent house hold, my father was a alcoholic, that use to beat my mother. I grew up with many issues, no sense of self identity, or direction. My mother did the best she could under the circumstances, as children myself and my two siblings fell through the cracks in a dysfunctional environment. We started using alcohol and drugs at an early age and followed the foot-steps of my older sister into the lifestyle of gangs and addiction-which was a heavy cultural influence where I grew up. I developed a twisted/distorted way of thinking and embraced the life-style that accepted me. I did not learn how to read until I was incarcerated around the age of 20. At the age of 18 I found myself being arrested and charged with murder, and I was subsequently sent to prison with a life sentence of15 to life with the possibility of parole. I served 24 years and by the Grace of God I was set free. I was found suitable for parole, and paroled for prison in September of 2010. It has been a along journey, in which God has transformed my life, restored my family, renewed my mind, set me free from the things that held me in bondage such as mind-sets, and cultural belief-systems that I believe come from our separation from Jesus Christ. My story is your story, just a different path. I believe knowledge is power, especially if you add into the equation of Jesus Christ. I do not have all the answers, but I have a voice, and I believe in sharing my Hope, Strength, and Experience". Jeremiah 29:11
I look forward to our conversation... In His Service.
