    A Persistent Rash

    in Religion

Like a nasty rash, that returns when least expected, some delusional religious cults have similar tendencies.  What a shame it is to see these sociopathic attention-seekers latch onto others in such a leach-type manner.

These disgusting traits have much to do with a massive ego problem.  Other attributes also have much to do with the missionary-mindset of "I have the truth and you do not, so therefore I have to badger you."  This technique is employed by religions, such as Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, and even those pesky Messianic cults.

In The Aftermath of an April 19th, 2016 Event in America

    in Politics Conservative

There has been a lot of discussion of late concerning what would happen if we had any type of an event which would cause local, state or federal government to go on high alert or actually shut down all, or portions, of our city, state or naation. We have seen a rash of "training" events lately and will undoubtedly see a lot more of them. The government is preparing for...something...and even if it is just an honest preparation for some event in the forseeable future, it is nonetheless disturbing and well worth taking the time to consider what you will do when and if something such as a nationl "State of Emergency" is declared.

Join us tonight to discuss what you can do to make sure you are preparing for events such as this and thnking about how you will respond to theem.

LEARNING TO OPERATE IN LOVE BY KEEPING HOPE ESTABLISHED

    in Relationships

We will be discussing how many times we fail in our relationships because we lose hope that things can work out for our good. We make rash decisions contigent on our flesh, instead of operating in love and the Word of God to help us sustain the relationship or the  marriage that we are in. It is imperative that we always continue to keep hope established to be able to operate in love and have the desire to continue in the Word of God's Commandment to love one another. Without hope we are doomed to fail, and some take this as a failure on love, but the Word tells us that Love Never Fails.

    Irrationality makes for interesting times

    in Politics Conservative

Seems you nver really know what our present president will say or do next.

Don found yet another mind boggling example.

"I’m not interested in having battles that frankly started before I was born. The Cold War’s been over for a long time." - Barack Obama, 11 Apr 2015, commenting at the Summit of the Americas on the prolonged conflict between the United States of America and Communist Cuba.

But irrationality, and peop,le being willing to follow it blindly, are nothing new.

On last week's show, Don mentioned a fellow by the name of Charles Mackay.

We'll connect some dots this week, showing that what the current rash of what Barack Obama calls "fundamental transformation" may be little more than what a Scottish journalist noted as
"national delusions" or "peculuar follies:" nearly 175 years ago.
