    Not I, But Christ

    in Religion

It is time for a change in our perspective about our relationship with God! No longer shall my relationship with God be scripted or type casted by the things of this world. The world will take our life in the spirit and make it a lie. We must die to the ways of preconceived spirituality and live our lives not OF Christ but IN Christ Jesus. When we decide that we want to live in the righteousness of God, because it gives me peace, love and so many other benefits, we allow old self to be crucified, so that Christ can then live IN us. Therefore, we no longer live...... Come join Rebirthed for the King, Friday, February 5 , 2016 at 7:30pmas we unpack the theme: "No I, But Christ," based on the book by Jason R. Henderson. Come participate in the discussion from scripture:

    Galatians 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me

I die Lord Jesus that you shall live your righteousness in me!

    JESUS IS ALIVE.

    in The Bible

All the GOOD LORD Children should do his righteousness at all time, 365 days a year.  It is the Holy Ghost that keep us from sinning and grinning.  The GOOD LORD hate sin. That is a three letter word, it is deadly abomination  against the Lord body of Christ.  My Friend let us keep THE SPIRIT OF OUR SAVIOUR ALIVE IN HIS BODY.  He did not go to the cross for nothing.  We need him every day, every hour, every minute, every second, as long as we have his breath, in his body Amen. We are the body of Christ.

"And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Ceasar Augustus that all the world should be registered.  This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria.  So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city.  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to city of David, which is called Bethlehem because he was of the house and lineage of David.

    What Jesus Says...

    in Christianity

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for ... the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified. Isaiah 61:1-3

God's Got This! God's Got Me! Jeremiah 29:11

    in Youth

"15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God,God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love."(1 John 4:15-18)

Why Do You Call Him (Jesus) Lord, Lord, and Do Not the Things He Says?

    in Spirituality

The merely religious ones do not realize that God is not impressed with outward acts of piety.  He knows the depths of human selfishness and betrayal.  He therefore knows that superficial piety is really self-worship.  I-dolatry is the foundational thanatological (death) milieu of the human condition apart from Christ.  The flesh does not want you to live the crucified life that is mandated by Jesus.  The language of the New Testament is very specific about the necessity of the crucifixion of the Old Man before one can walk in true obedience to the Word of God.

POST JESUS - THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES - PART 2

    in Religion

The birth, life, lessons, and death of the Christ is chronicled in what we call "The Gospels."

Must has been discussed, argued over, pontificated and fought about since then.

Many discuss, ad nauseum (to the point of throwing up), the letters of the Apostle Paul to the point that these letters seem to take precedence over the life and mission of Christ and dominate the "teachings" of the "church world" today.

The 28 chapters of the modern Bible we call ACTS (formally named THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES) have been buried beneath man's desire for "structure," "law" and "protocol."

We tend to go to the letters for our doctrine and to justify our beliefs.

My question is this: what did the believers that Paul wrote these letters of instruction, and in some cases, correction have to grow the fellowship by 3,000 and 5,000 and more without these letters?

Is there a reason the body of believers grew so fast then as opposed to how?

Help me discover the lost motivation of this much ignored history of the early church.
