The Bible says in John 6:39-40: "And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."
PROPHECY BOOTCAMP: Our topic for today is titled "God is Still on the Throne" (Part 2) from Dr. Ed Hindson's book "Revelation: Unlocking the Future".
The transition that occurs in these chapters is emphasized by the words “after this” or “after these things.“ It denotes a sequence of events that transpires at this point. These phrases occur ten times in the Revelation. It marks the beginning of a new vision or a new series of events. Thomas writes, “It introduces a new section of the book as the scene now changes from a picture of the glorified Christ walking among the churches on earth to that of the Father in the court of heaven.”
The transition that occurs at Revelation 4:1 also shifts our focus into the future. John Walvoord states: "Chapters 4 and 5 are the introduction and background of the tremendous sweep of prophetic events predicted in the rest of the book.” ...

Gospel pioneer Sallie Martin once said, “I’ve never been the greatest, nobody ever called me the greatest; yet, still I’ve been everywhere the greatest have been…” These words could have easily been spoken by Nashville’s own, Everett M. Drake, as he, too, has shared the stage with many of the music industry’s greatest luminaries.
Like so many entertainers, Everett’s musical roots began in the church, singing in the choir and later serving as Choir Director of his beloved First Baptist Church South Inglewood. His dynamic passion for singing and directing were soon recognized by other gospel singers and he was tapped to join The Johnson Ensemble, a local singing group. They were enormously popular during the 1970s and recorded several albums. Their signature album, “The Harvest Is Plentiful” brought them national recognition.
As an artist Natasha Gray aims to keep the integrity of our rich Gospel Legacy and great songwriting. Liquid Prayers is an amazing song written by the Gospel Industry’s “Girl Director”, Natalie Wilson. Produced byNatasha’s husband, Rodrick Cliché. [Co-Writer and Producer of Dorinda Clark Cole’s newest single, “Bless This House”] Through warm vocals over this vintage gospel musicianship, very reminiscent of early 80’sAndrae Crouch songs, Natasha ministers to our hearts. This heartfelt message tells us, while we may not always have the words to speak, God understands. Your listeners will definitely connect with this inspirational song!

By its very definition, the term gospel means good news. Gospel music is one of the vehicles through which the ideals of Christianity have been spread to audiences all over the world.
Gospel Music is a shining beacon of hope, a fantastic journey of joy divine, and a triumphant victory in God that comes from deep down in the souls of God’s Chosen People. The greatest melodies and the most stimulating songs have been given to this Nation and the World through the African American experience.
Starting tonight and for the rest of this month we will explore the rich history of Gospel Music through the contributions of great pioneers like Andraé Edward Crouch, Mahalia Jackson, Thomas Dorsey, Albertina Walker, James Cleveland many others.

Encouragement & Inspiration Let's Talk About It, Then Pray About It Andrae Crouch was called the "Father of Modern Gospel" The Gospel melodic hymns sung by Andrae Crouch and his choir kept congregations swaying back and forth in worship for decades. He set the tone for mixing contemporary music with traditional gospel. He paved the road for others to follow, but his journey finally ended last week as Andrae Crouch passed on January 8, 2015 at the age of 72. He held many awards to support that title. He holds to his name seven Grammys, and of those, four of them were for “Best Contemporary Gospel Album”. Andrae is the only gospel artist to receive a star on the “Hollywood Walk of Fame”. With all of his amazing credits towards music, Andrae could have easily just rested on his throne, of being the “Father of Modern Gospel”, but as he settled into himself and his purpose, he decided to go back to his humble beginnings. Andrae Crouch decided to take on the role of pastor of the church his dad presided over during his childhood. For Andrae that might have been one of his greatest accomplishments, to simply praise The Lord. He remarked in an interview, that whenever anyone passes his star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame, if the questioned is asked, “Who is Andrea Crouch?”, he simply wants the answer to be “He sang about Jesus”. A humble yet majestic man he seemed, from whom we can continue to enjoy the magic of music that he has left behind.
