In honor of Respect Life week, I want to talk about what this week really means. Not only is it about choosing to be ProLife but also about enjoying the life you live. Many babies never get the chance to be part of this world. In honor of those babies' lives, lets speak up for them. These babies are victims because they don't have their voice yet. Let's use our voice to make a mark on this world and lower the amount of abortions. Let's help others see that there are 2 other options: raise the baby or adoption. Don't let the baby suffer for your actions.
WEST VIRGINIA BECOMES THE ELEVENTH STATE TO PROTECT PAIN-CAPABLE CHILDREN AS LEGISLATURE OVERRIDES GOVERNOR TOMBLIN’S VETO.
WASHINGTON – In a 27-5 vote, the West Virginia state Senate today joined with the state House of Delegates in voting to override Governor Earl Ray Tomblin’s veto of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (HB 2568), legislation that protects unborn children from abortion at the point that they are able to feel pain. Tomblin's veto came after the state House of Delegates and the state Senate overwhelmingly approved the bill in February. The legislature’s successful override of Gov. Tomblin’s veto means that the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act will go into effect in 90 days.
Despite having passed the legislature last session, Governor Tomblin's first veto of this legislation came after the session ended, preventing an override vote.
“Medical science provides substantial compelling evidence that unborn children flinch away from painful stimuli, that their stress hormones increase when they are subjected to anything painful, and that they require anesthesia for fetal surgery,” said Mary Spaulding Balch, J.D., director of state legislation for the National Right to Life Committee. “States have a compelling interest in protecting the lives of unborn children who are capable of feeling pain from abortion. West Virginia becomes the eleventh state to recognize this obligation by enacting the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.”
The legislation is based on a National Right to Life model bill that is currently in effect in eight states across the country: Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Let’s call Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, a Hobby Lobby Appreciation Day mistress of ceremonies this morning. When I got to the Supreme Court this morning, she was leading the crowd in joyously celebrating religious freedom. Not knowing yet what the justices would rule, there was still that to be grateful for — a God-given right — and to continue to fight for.
Needless to say, the happiness level increased as the ruling was announced.
I asked her what was going through her head as the news came in:
It felt amazing to stand there with dozens of pro-life women. When we knew for sure that the decision was a victory, there was such a huge cry from the crowd that it gave me goose bumps. Truly, this generation is the Pro-Life Generation and, today, we got to show the nation.
This was a huge victory for women, both on the political left and right. Thankfully, the Supreme Court’s decision didn’t further exacerbate the abortion industry’s lucrative, false notion that pregnancy and fertility is a disease. I find it demeaning that our president and his administration thinks that I need free $9 birth control to be equal to a man. Both men and women were made by one Creator and he made us equal.

About This Episode (Abortion: Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?)
Induced abortion laws have come a long way. In fact, until 2013, Iowa allowed telemedicine abortions, where women could tele-conference with a physician and click a button to unlock the drawer containing mifepristone, the first of two pills used to perform medically-induced abortions.
WHAT ARE THE STATISTICS?
Globally, there are about 44 million induced abortions each year, but this is not a new phenomenon. They have been performed since ancient times by use of herbal medicines, sharpened tools, physical trauma, and other traditional methods. Today, unsafe abortions are a major cause of injury and death among women worldwide with approximately 20 million unsafe abortions are performed annually; 97% taking place in developing countries.
IS IT RIGHT?
This is the question we pose this episode! We want to know you thoughts on abortions. Is it moral wrong or simply a choice? Your thoughts are welcome. Tune in at 7 PM EST at 646-200-0246.

Conservatives believe in personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, traditional American values and a strong national defense. Believe the role of government should be to provide people the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals. Conservative policies generally emphasize empowerment of the individual to solve problems.
Liberals believe in government action to achieve equal opportunity and equality for all. It is the duty of the government to alleviate social ills and to protect civil liberties and individual and human rights. Believe the role of the government should be to guarantee that no one is in need. Liberal policies generally emphasize the need for the government to solve problems.
Human life begins at conception. Abortion is the murder of a human being. An unborn baby, as a living human being, has separate rights from those of the mother. Oppose taxpayer-funded abortion. Taxpayer dollars should not be used for the government to provide abortions. Support legislation to prohibit partial birth abortions, called the "Partial Birth Abortion* Ban"(*Partial Birth Abortion: the killing of an unborn baby of at least 20 weeks by pulling it out of the birth canal with forceps, but leaving the head inside. An incision is made in the back of the baby's neck and the brain tissue is suctioned out. The head is then removed from the uterus.)

Are faux conservatives more dangerous than liberals?
Ted Cruz appears extreme because the conservative movement as a whole does not champion its own. Outside of talk radio and a few scattered outposts, conservative commentary is mostly void of any passion, humanity or a “we got your back” spirit of camaraderie.
Liberals, by contrast, rally behind their own, thus Barack Obama, an avowed extremist who promised the fundamental transformation of the United States, can actually pose as a moderate looking out for everyday Americans. Ted Cruz bears the label of an out-of-touch extremist because few if any on his side will rally to his defense. Ted Cruz is a victim of the high school social network mentality, where the cool clique decides who it’s ok to laugh at and make fun of. The senator, of course, wears a giant kick-me sign on his back, and the Kathleen Parkers go along, deathly afraid of not fitting in, uninterested if the dork in the hallway might possess a redeeming quality.
Conservative moderates, always style-conscious, never stand behind the likes of Cruz and Sarah Palin, even when the criticism devolves from policy and tactics to the personal, the snarky and nasty. Heck, if anything, they’re leading the charge. Recall that Parker urged Sarah Palin to remove herself from the 2008 ticket and wrote that the governor’s appeal was largely superficial.

CPAC 2015 IN REVIEW: A Greater Divide Than Ever?
By, Jason Taylor
I went to this year’s yearly Conservative convention with an open mind, and a heart that was somewhat bruised from much of the far right rhetoric that has been endlessly blogged about, tweeted about and Facebooked about. Not to mention the 24/7 internet and AM radio lambasting of the current GOP Congress that ‘we’ elected to serve this nation.
I was quickly hit with the cold hard truth, not much had changed. If anything it had gotten much worse, even worse than I believed it ever could. The far right, were even more far out there than I once thought, and their hammering of the moderate Conservatives continued all the way up to Jeb Bush going as far as to boo him during his speech.
With all the chaos surrounding us in the world today, America is looking for a leader who will step up to the challenge. The fragmented GOP needs to come together to put forth a candidate who will get our country back to the founding principles that our great nation was based on: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The world has run amuck with violent terrorists who seek the destruction of all they oppose. The whole world is looking for a leader to exterminate this threat and be a beacon of hope to all in these devastating events that have occurred.
Our guest tonight is a mother who also faces a challenge. Her autistic son is having surgery which will affect her son greatly as change and new experiences can cause great distress to someone who is on the autism spectrum. They are looking to move into a ground apartment before the surgery because the stairs in the current apartment will pose a real problem.
When will become a nation that realizes the every day challenges we face and step up to the plate? America, we need to recognize the value of every human life and the unique qualities that each person brings. Let us become that beacon of hope and step up to meet the challenges we face.
