A bit of a change of pace tonight considering the many interested in UFOs, if some Goddesses might have been ETs, and the seeming new secularized religious mythology of "ancient aliens....Ted Peters, investigator of UFOs for 40 years, who previously served as the Louisiana State Director of MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network is currently Emeritus Professor of Systematic Theology & Ethics at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. He co-edits the journal Theology & Science at the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences. We'll discuss if Christianity is threatened by the idea of ETs and where that might fit into that ideology, if he believs Earth may face a crisis if UFOs reveal themselves, if he thinks traditional religions are due to mistaken interpretations of visitations by ancient astronauts - and perhaps, most important, why he as a Christian theologian and religion scholar, interested in UFOs.

Establishment Republicans join with Democrats to blur the distinctions between the political parties ahead of the midterm elections; Obama intends to emulate his Texas predecessor and it’s not George W. Bush.
And American's are left looking at the prospect of a third world unsubstaniable entitlement state.

The problem: Challenge in engaging and retaining patients in anti-depressant treatment
--over 50% of patients do not take anti-depressants as prescribed --30% of patients discontinue treatment after one month
--Anti-depressants can help people overcome their depression, not completing treatment leaves them at risk of the depression returning and over the long term, having multiple episodes of depression.
Our approach to the problem: Training psychiatrists in Motivational Interviewing in order to improve how they engage patients in treatment and help build and sustain their motivation to get better. But a key challenge was to keep session length consistent with the usual 15-20 minutes.

Blind Award-Winning Guitarist with Insightful Vision, Joey Stuckey
Born in Green Cove Springs, Florida, Joey Stuckey is an award-winning blind guitarist, songwriter, singer, composer, producer, radio & TV personality, music columnist, educator, inspirational speaker, and sound engineer. Joey’s guitar style is reminiscent of rocker Jeff Beck and jazzer Wes Montgomery while his vocal influences range from Mel Torme to Gregg Allman—these influences have inspired an original sound that Stuckey calls “jazz infused rock with southern attitude”. Stuckey lost his sight and sense of smell as an infant as the result of a brain tumor. Despite these limitations, he remained in mainstream education. Scholastically outstanding, Joey Stuckey graduated from high school at the age of 14. At the age of 17 he began his musical career by taking classical guitar lessons from noted music professor Terry Cantwell.
Joey continued his musical education by studying with renowned jazz guitarists Stanley Jordan and Steve Crowell. Stuckey is the owner and sound engineer of a recording facility Shadow Sound Studio
Stuckey is currently active in student instruction for guitar, voice, music theory, and sound engineering and is a professor of music technology at Mercer University.

Research has shown that 140 million women and girls worldwide have been affected by Female genital mutilation (FGM) and of these, 66,000 were in the UK. It is estimated that up to 98,000 girls in the UK are at risk of being cut.
The World Health Organisation called for the elimination of FGM 30 years ago and the practice was made illegal in the UK in 1985 (with an update in 2003 that made it an offence to arrange to have it performed outside the UK on British Citizens), however there has not been one conviction.
Professor Hazel Barrett of Coventry University believes that this community-based approach is the best way to tackle the issue of FGM worldwide. Despite being a human rights abuse, the practice goes largely unreported amongst the diasporic communities in which it is practiced. Her unique approach to this issue includes working with practising communities to understand the barriers to preventing FGM and using the results of their research to try to change behaviours within communities.

Shane Krauser, the host of Liberty Storm, returns from a four-city tour in Montana. From speaking in front of 1000 high school students to debating a professor about the Constitution, it was quite a run. Don't miss the details. Shane discussed the following:
1. The four-city tour to Montana was an unbelievable success. Listen in to hear some moving and inspiring stories and why you should have hope for a better America.
2. What is the problem with communism anyways?
3. How our young people used to used to propagandize the Second Amendment and the problem of violence?
