Who Murdered Hip Hop?
Originally serving as an outlet for young urban brothers to express their social, economic, political, and personal concerns, Hip Hop took the 70's by storm. Before you knew it everyone was rapping, dancing, and throwing big parties. People came together to bond and battle instead of fuss and fight. Ushering a new age of young people breaking down barriers with sound instead of fists.
But just like Black Wall Street, once Hip Hop became a positive force in the Melanated(Black) community, it instantly became the target of those who seem to enjoy our suffering. It became the objective mark for vultures and saboteurs. Those who desired to oppress and control instead of elevate and enlighten.
Join Alex Primo, Asha Zuri, and Zhe Levels Scott Thursday, August 20 at 9 PM EST as we dissect the ups and downs of the music industry as it relates to the well-being of our Melanated Family. We will explore the philosophy behind this change from uplifting party jams and street poetry to violent chaotic "music" that promotes disunity.
And as usual we will discuss current events or other issues that affect the Black Community.
Plus Brother Dennis Jefferson will be dropping by with another fantastic episode of Healthy Matters.

Who Are The Real Jews?
What if I told you that some researchers and scholars state emphatically that those who control Israel today are not the same Jews of old. Moreover, it is said that the real Jews are Black. Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri as we explore the truth and history of the group that, in today's world, we call the Jews and claims that the actual descendants of Abraham were Melanated.
In his article on Purity of Race, Jewish scholar Joseph Jacobs relates something of the dilemma that was gripping the Jewish community at this time. He writes: "The question whether the Jews of today are in the main descended from the Jews of Bible times, and from them alone, is still undecided."
Gamal Abdel Nasser pointedly states that the Europeans claiming to be Jews, are nothing more then "Hebrew speaking Gentiles." The late president of Egypt, Gamal Abdel Nasser, stated on television, "you (the Jews) will never be able to live here in peace, because you left here black but came back white."
Whether we agree or disagree with these opinions, authors, or researchers,we owe it to ourselves and the Melanated Family to at least have a look at this subject.
And as usual we will discuss relevant current events & other issues that concern Black people across the globe.

Black Economics with emphasis on the work of Dr Claud Anderson
Join the thoughtful sister Asha Zuri and the controversial brother Alex Primo Thursday August 6th as we discuss Black Economics and the politics involved in establishing a Black economy. To do this we will take a close look at the work of Dr Claud Anderson.
Dr. Claud Anderson, is president of PowerNomics Corporation of America, a corporation that is involved in major business development, primarily in inner cities, across the country. The word PowerNomics® represents a social-political-economic package of principles and strategies developed by Dr. Anderson to help make Black America a more self-sufficient and competitive group.
Powernomics Stacked Foundations Approach:
Economic Foundation. We first have to build our own businesses to get money, power and respect to get you what you need in life, help you sleep at night and have you eating right.
Political Foundation. We use the money and power to influence elections and influence politicians to advocate our agenda and pass laws that are in the best interest of our agenda.
Justice Foundation. We use politicians and our economic power to control how cops act in our community, how judges treat black people when it comes to sentencing and fairness in the court of law.
Media Foundation. We own print and electronic media to control our voice and promote our businesses and our culture to our people.
Education Foundation. We move away from standardization and focus on the specific talent and needs of our children to hone their skills to provide their talents and contribution to the black community.
And of course, we will cover current events that affect the Melanated Family.

Black Inventors, Inventions & Innovations
We were taught that George Washington Carver invented peanut butter, that's probably not true considering the fact that the Aztecs were eating it back in the 15th century. But did you know that brother Carver invented 300 or so uses for the peanut itself? He issued bulletins to farmers and housewives explaining how to use peanuts to make soap, face creams, axle grease, insecticides, glue, medicines and charcoal. He even made paper from peanuts.
Join us, Alex, Asha, and Zhe, Thursday August 27 at 9 PM EST as we discuss great Melanated Inventors, Inventions and Innovations that have impacted and improved our world.
Spoken language, the written word, and the smooth transmission of electricity are all inventions or innovations of the Melanated man. Traffic lights, the gas mask, the modern pacemaker, and even the video game are innovations of the Black man. And this is the short list. So you don't want to miss this informative episode.
Plus, brother Dennis Jefferson will be dropping by with another episode of Healthy Matters, improving the health of the Melanated Family one week at a time.

Before we reinvent the wheel, let's look back at and study the work of some of our bravest and boldest forerunners, such as the Black Panthers. A party that was formed to combat racism and oppression during the 60's.
Join Asha Zuri and Alex Primo, Thursday June 18th at 9 pm EST, as we dissect the aggressive philosophy and insightful programs that these brave men and women brought to our much ignored and mistreated communities across the country.
Whether it was mass organization/mobilization, survival programs, self-defense, feeding the children, or Black Nationalism and Black Pride, the Panthers were a breath of fresh air to many neighborhoods where complaints were many and answers were few.
So tune-in as we discuss the contributions of Huey P Newton, Bobby Seale, Eldridge Cleaver, Stokely Carmichael, Fred Hampton, Kathleen Neal Cleaver, and Angela Davis.

Who was Nimrod? Was he simply a man misunderstood, or a mighty hunter, or 2/3 god 1/3 man as the mythos suggests.
Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday June 11th at 9 pm EST as we explore the man, the myth, and the modern presence of Nimrod, the mad ruler with many names and who had a stunning connection to most of the religions on the planet.
We will also discuss Semiramis, his wife, and Tammuz, his son. Tune-in to find out how these three are still affecting the world we live in and your daily activities.

Black Wall Street & Black Communities Destroyed By Racism
You've heard about Black Wall Street(1921) and maybe even Rosewood(1923), but how about the East St. Louis Massacre (1917), Knoxville, Tennessee Race Riots (1919), or Bruces' Beach (1910's-1920's).
Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday June 4th at 9 pm EST as we discuss the the destruction of Black towns, communities, and businesses that have been attacked or destroyed due to jealousy, hatred, and racism.
There can be no confusion America has no stomach for Black success. How else can you explain the wanton and reckless aggression directed at successful Melanated persons in this country? History actually records the fact that the prosperity of our people was the motivation for many of these acts of savagery.
Let's take a look back and see what our forerunners achieved and try to learn from their mistakes. Because if we are going to do it again, we are going to have to do it better.

Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday May 28th at 9 pm EST as we dissect, debate, and discuss the secret that Black folks don't talk about ... Depression in our community.
One in ten Americans will be affected by some form of Depression during their lifetime, usually caused by a major life event such as divorce, unemployment, poor health, or a death in the family. And depression is fast becoming a worldwide issue for the health industry.
How does this affect Black America specifically? Well, it has been noted by researchers that those living in poverty, us, are two and a half times more likely to experience depression. Additionally, 90% of Black males who suffer from this condition seek no treatment. On top of that women are more likely to experience depression than men, so consequently that means that Black women are suffering the most from this ailment.
“I’ve tried to commit suicide over 15 times. I have the scars on my arms of wanting to kill myself and not even know why,” said 45-year-old Tracey Hairston, a member of the health center who has bipolar disorder.
A report published by researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison found that poverty, parenting, racial and gender discrimination put Black women — particularly low-income Black women — at greater risk for major depressive disorder (MDD).
Now that we know the problem, let's talk solutions brothers and sisters.

Is the concept of Race reality based or pseudoscience?
You can find scholars on both sides of this issue, but can you find real science that supports either side. Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday May 21 at 9 pm EST as we explore the concept of Race and the reason why such a distinction must be made. More importantly, who benefits from this notion? Who controls the way various Races are portrayed? How can we prove that Racial divisions are fact based classifications or simply the creation of a few racists with nefarious intentions?

What Would Nat, Garvey, or Malcolm do?
Join us Thursday June 25 at 9 pm EST as Alex and Asha discuss the historical legends of Black liberation, Nat Turner, Marcus Garvey, and Malcolm X. Not only in terms of their philosophy, actions, and achievements during their era, but also in terms of what would they do in regards to present day events.
How would Nat Turner, leader of what may have been the most influential slave revolt in American history, handle being a prisoner of the modern police state?
What would Garvey do to motivate a freedom movement among the super forgiving fans of integration?
And could Malcolm convince the modern Melanated man to give up his kool aid and cable diet?
Let's talk, debate, and discuss the impact these three men had on their day and the ramifications if they were alive during ours.

DO WE NEED A LEADER OR DO WE NEED TO STOP DRINKING THE KOOL AID?
Join Alex Primo & Asha Zuri Thursday at 9 pm EST as we explore the many decades long quest to find a successor to Martin or Malcolm. The question becomes more and more intense as perilous events explode throughout our communities. Do we need a leader, in the traditional sense of the word, to solve these problems or do we need something entirely different?
If one is needed, where will we find him or her? Do we trust the old vanguard of wheel-n-deal democracy, like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, or do we select a new young gun that has virtually no experience, in life or in these matters?
Perhaps we looking at this thing all wrong? Maybe we need to create a round table full of equals instead of a rectangular table with one big chair surrounded by underlings or fans?
But no matter what we do, we first have to explore the question of why we have been waiting so long for someone to come save us, instead of doing what must be done ourselves.
