Today is the first day back to school for most of Georgia. Let's talk about the BMI requirement and why it is unnecessary and STUPID! The first Ebola patient arrived in Atlanta on Saturday and I'm not the worried. However, let the 'Outbreak' panic begin for a lot of folks. Find out why I'm not worried. SGS#14 was a big hit, but I had an issue with one of the speakers not telling the whole truth. Find out who. It appears that Douglas County is getting ready to give Westin $35 million dollars for Foxhall regardless of what citizens think. Sounds like Paulding County, doesn't it?  We will be discussing all of this and much more so make sure to tune in to hear my latest controversial statements and listen to some awesome music by Liberty minded artists. See you there.

Mike Daugherty, author of The Devil Inside The Beltway, will be with us for an update on his fight with the FTC. So how did he like testifying before Darrell Issa and the House Oversight Committee? And we'll be looking at local shenanigans and how the Hiram City Council has decided NOT to give their portion for Economic Development in Paulding County. Now why would that do that? What possible reason could the Hiram City Council have for not wanting to grow Paulding? And I visited with a candidate this week. Find out who and why I'm seriously looking at a 3rd party candidate this time. As usual, we'll have plenty of good music by Liberty minded artists to keep us upbeat and motivated.

The Paulding County Chamber of Commerce is once again proving that they care little about "quality of life" in our community. A simple email request was answered with rudeness. Find out what the request was, from whom and who was rude. Douglasville Mayor Harvey Persons took time this week to go testify in front of State Senator Donzella James' study committee on "mold and mildew remediation contractors". Does he think his constituents can't handle their own issues either? And what is going on with the Jeff Amason "notary" kerfuffle. I attended a meeting last night that enlightened me on the "conflicting notary laws". Please join me for all of this and more. As usual, we'll have plenty of awesome music by Liberty minded artists to keep us upbeat and motivated. See you there!

Independence Day celebrations are over and I hope everyone had a great weekend. But what is Freedom? Do we really want it? Or do we just pay lip service to Freedom on Patriotic holidays? Hear my thoughts on that and Dinesh D'Souza's America. Also, some endorsements were made over the weekend. Who endorsed who and why? We'll be discussing some local issues along with everything else and we have one final ticket to give away for SGS14. Don't miss a minute or you'll miss something important. As usual, we'll have plenty of awesome music by Liberty minded artists to keep us upbeat and motivated. See you there!

Paulding County schools seem to have no problem violating the parental rights of their students. Should teachers be using devices like weighted vests on our children without our knowledge? Is the City of Hiram's manager, Robbie Rokovitz, going out of his way to prove a point? Did he contact the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission in an attempt at an end run around the rest of the county regarding economic development projects in the works? And the Libertarian candidate for US Senate, Amanda Swafford, will joing us to explain why she is running for Saxby Chambliss' seat. Make sure to tune in for all of this and much more. There will be plenty of controversial statements and awesome music by Liberty minded artists to keep us all upbeat and motivated. See you there!

You know that moment when an elected official says something so incredibly stupid you just shake your head and ask, "Did he really just say that"? West Georgia has had two of those moments this week. First, Douglasville Mayor Harvey Persons inserted both of his feet into his mouth while talking with Douglasville PD and then Paulding County BOC Chairman David Austin does the same thing with members of the community at the BOC monthly meeting. And what was the Paulding County School Board thinking with their latest decision? I'm not the only one shaking my head over that one. Are you surprised with the run-off election results? There results were very close in more than one election.  We'll discuss all of this and a lot more, so you don't want to miss a moment. As usual, we'll have plenty of music by Liberty minded artists to keep us upbeat and motivated. See you there!

Several folks in Paulding County who support expansion of our local airport are claiming they have been victims of vandalism, burglary and cyber attacks. Do they honestly believe that others haven't been targeted? Can you say "Cry Me A River"? Also in Paulding, there was another attack on the Silver Comet Trail. Is the trail safe? Don't you just love how politicians try to SPIN something their way? Especially in an election year. Find out who is trying to SPIN things their way in Douglas County. We'll also be discussing what I expect at Smart Girl Summit 14 this weekend and the movie I went to see last night called The Giver. Make sure you tune in for what is sure to be a program filled with controversial statements and information. As usual, we'll have music by Liberty minded artists to keep us upbeat and motivated. It seems that Paulding County has a local lawmaker who decidced to go MIA this week in order to attend a trade show in Boston, Mass. Guess cancelling a Board of Commissioner's meeting is no big deal to this Chairman. But no worries, the new "Citizen Steering Committee" for the Paulding County Airport Authority will meet this week. What can we expect from that? And who are the people that were appointed? Also, the City of Douglasville may be raising property taxes this year to try and make up for a $1.6 million deficit. That sounds like a brilliant idea! And the Senate race in Georgia is heating up as revelations come out regarding the two candidates in the GOP run-off. Join us for all of these topics and more. There will surely be more controversial statement and as usual...great music by Liberty minded artists to keep us motivated and happy.

What a busy few days. The Secretary of State's office has denied one Georgia House candidate ballot access in November, find out why. Douglas County and Douglasville just can't seem to stop the kerfuffles. Between the DA's office and Mayor Harvey Persons, the citizens of the county and city just can't stay off the evening news. But hey, the City of Dallas and Mayor Austin brought some positivity to residents. Too bad it was quickly followed by more airport perfidy. Tune in as we discuss this and much more. It's sure to be another night full of controversial statements but we'll have plenty of awesome music by Liberty minded artists to keep us upbeat and motivated. See you there!

Let's talk about Eric Cantor, the first House Majority Leader in history to be defeated in a primary, and his stunning defeat last night. Considering that NO national "tea party groups" helped David Brat...this is quite an accomplishment for the grassroots activists in Virginia. On a local level we'll discuss the movie studio and airport expansion in Paulding with regards to how our elected officials insist they are good for our local economy. We'll also discuss meetings that have been scheduled and cancelled and why it's all rather stinky. Tune in for more controversial statements and fun music by Liberty minded artists. See y'all there.
