Allison Fagundes is the founder of BusteeLady, which makes fashionable and supportive clothing for busty women. Fashion is Allison’s calling. Attending FIDM and LMU helped land her careers in apparel manufacturing and costume design. As she developed the brand concept, a particularly humiliating, but now funny moment, catapulted Bustees into reality. Bustees promotes health and wellness and supports 2 causes, one of which Allison directly encountered, breast and thyroid cancer.
Bustees designs bikinis with fit, fashion, as well as performance in mind. We want our clients to be beachside, or poolside, and only be focused on enjoying themselves as well as reveling in the fact they look fabulous! If a customer wearing our product goes to the beach and decides she wants to be a part of a pick-up game of volleyball, she will be left without a doubt knowing her curves are secure, properly supported, and she won’t have to worry about anything “popping out to say hello” no matter how active her day becomes. Bustees bikinis mimic the support of a brassiere, while maintaining better dimensional stability through the layering of performance textiles. In fusing these two ideas, you end up with an impressive product that will last.

God is going to make the ministry and the minister Identical. You see it in all the prophets. God even worked through their domestic life. God uses the closes relationships of our life. Think of many of the great prophets of old. How dramatic things took place in their lives. For example look at Hosea's domestic life, God told him to go and marry a temple prostitute. Look at Ezekiel, whose wife the Lord took in death by a stroke. The Lord said to Ezekiel get up in the morning and anoint your face, allow not the slightest suggestion of mourning or tragedy to get detected from you; go out as always before, as though nothing had happened. Ezek. 24:15-18 And the word of the Lord came to me saying, “Son of man, behold, I am about to take from you the desire of your eyes with a blow; but you shall not (mourn and you shall not weep, and your tears shall not come. Groan silently; make (no mourning for the dead. Bind on your turban and put your shoes on your feet, and do not cover your mustache and do not eat the bread of men.” So I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. And in the morning I did as I was commanded. Wow! what a devastating blow to the man of God. Image God telling you not to mourn for your wife of love one. Would you be able to obey God. You see we may not understand God, but is still looking for blind obedience to him.
SPONSORED BY MARK PITTMAN--This may be repetitive. Perhaps your reaction to racist crimes, endless heckling, preudicial plots and major schemes in motion for racial genocide have gotten you to points past disgust and fatigue..whatever the situation, one thing is clear. Black America is still in disarray and its still ripe for the picking of a very racist world. No amount of self-appointed blindfolding is going to solve the problem or stop the bulldozing...so we come back to yet another cyclic point---what do we do about it? Storming the mountaintop of a world that will never let you in is not the answer, but how do we take some major plays from the playbook of the Grand Design and play a different game? One that actually BENEFITS US> Join in tonight at 10:30 pm EST with your thoughts. Call 347-327-9967.
Last nights show was an epic success as well as fact finding. Our men rose to the challenge and called in with their perspectives but not necessarily always staying on the descripted topic. Peter from PA made some points that I will address one at a time at the beginning of tonights show. And yes we had a few calls from our local squidbillie cyber trolls. lol My favorite caller however was Mr. Solution. He knows how to dialogue in a way that allows the host and the caller to not sound as if we are argueing or warring but we simply are having a constuctive interactive exchange of information, ideas, and thoughts that allow those who are listening in to be edified while they learn, so I definitly hope he calls back so I can throw some of my original questions at him which where, why is it that the destructive Black male is so visual and out front in Black neighborhoods while the good law abiding Black men, Fathers, business owners ect... seem to (always) be the invisible silent types? Has the good Black mans good reputation been used against them by their more rambunctious, minstrel cooning street wise brethren? Are responsible elite Black men out there handling their business as visualy and publically as those they claim to be the thugs, shyters, pimps and hustlers are? It seems that Black men with all the wisdom and knowledge on how to live a civilized, balanced, drama free life are keeping those SECRETS to themselves huh? Someone even mentioned on FB that nobody listens to married men. So I would like to know if this imbalance of the good Black man vs the devious ones, harming the image of Black men as a whole? Does it cause their women to see them as WEAKER, and the world to lump all of them into one boat? Join us for part II. ooohhhh i can't wait.
Modern means of communication has turned the world into a global village, where everyone in the world is our neighbor. Some people are the type of people you wouldn't want as neighbors. You know who they are - loud, ignorant, destructive, disrespectful, out of control. When we think of traveling to enjoy another part of the world and experience the culture, there are some places in the world we would love to be, the people seem interesting, the entertainment enjoyable, the way of life seems comfortable, and we could feel safe. But what does the rest of the world see when they consider traveling to the inner cities of America? The world loves our music and dancing, but what about this image of excessive crime? This week, we'll talk to journalists and image makers who are examining the global impressions of African American culture, and how that affects the economy in the inner cities. Today we'll talk to members CAAAP, Chicago Association of African American Photographers, whose mission is to capture images that define the history and culture of African American people. Our guests are photographer Deleshia Kinney who is working on a new photography book on African American women and beauty of their natural hair, and Curtis Kojo Morrow, artist, photographer and author of the books "What's A Commie Ever Done To Black People?" and "My Sankofa."
