Welcome to Part 1 of the Medical Writing Institute Spring 2015 Regulatory Documentation Certificate!
This is a course in 4 parts in which we are going on a journey, starting with a walk by Lake Mbezi which may, or may not, be on the continent of Africa. We are going through processes needed to turn a pretty plant with amazing antibiotic powers, into an antibiotic which will be sold by registered pharmacists to sick folks who have been given a prescription for it by a licensed healthcare professional.
To be awarded a certificate, you will need to show competency in understanding antibiotics: what they are, what they do, and all the ways humans can become resistant. You will also need to show competency in understanding the documents that are needed to take a plant from a tropical jungle to laboratory testing to giving to humans to making sure humans remain safe.
Theoretically, you could be ready for your exam in 4 weeks. If you have experience preparing documents for regulatory agencies, and have strong health and science backgrounds, you could be ready for your exam immediately. Your exam will be 2 parts: written documents and oral exam, which will be recorded and you can keep.
Please listen to the show, and get started on your journey with the tropical plant you found near Lake Mbezi.
Enjoy! If you don't like it, you can enroll in the Pharmaceutical Management Certificate, which is for medical writers who do not like regulatory writing. And for anyone looking for a career in the international pharmaceutical industry.
We have a great show today. We are meeting with Summer Vasilas and Alex Arlotta the founders of Waxing the City. As the upkeep of individual body parts such as eyelash extensions, facials, body waxing and pedicures spurs growth of offshoot single-service salon concepts, fitness industry giants are starting to dip into the lucrative niche beauty business. One example is 3,000-unit international co-ed fitness chain Anytime Fitness, the world’s largest and fastest growing co-ed fitness franchise, which recently acquired the emerging wax-only franchise, Waxing the City. In part 2, we hear from franchise expert Karol Mercurio on our Great Quotes in Franchising podcast.

Hello Everyone, My name is Michelle Cornwell Jordan one of your hosts, and my co-host Jamie White is also joining me this evening. Tonight we are very happy to have the opportuity to chat with Music Promoter/Radio Host and Author Keri D. Singleton!
Keri D. Singleton has worn more than a few hats in two decades of working in and around the music industry. Radio intern, artist management, promotions assistant at Power 105 Radio in New York City, and promotions/marketing representative at several record labels and clothing lines are only a few of the titles he has held since the early 1990’s.
His clients include critically acclaimed collage artist Monicka Hasan. He also manages recording artist Julia Robertson, formerly of the Full Force-produce, 90’s quartet Ex Girlfriend.
A documentary entitled "Live To Tell: 20 Years Behind The Music" (a short film documenting Singleton’s life in the music business) and his debut novel, “The Wanderer’s Game” were both completed in March, 2013. A month later, he began hosting a popular weekly internet radio show called ‘Keri’s Korner’ on F.L.O Empire Radio in New York City. Keri D. Singleton appeared in the January/February, 2014 issue of Soul Essence Magazine which was followed by a celebrity studded event celebrating the one year anniversary of his radio show. Keri D. Singleton continues to stay “relevant” by networking and cultivating old relationships with professionals while building new ones.

With only two left after today, we anticipate what could happen next. I can't believe we're almost done with the audiobook samples. Are you excited? Remember, I'll be doing a strawpoll when all the audibook samples are completed.
Today's reading is somewhat unique. With Identical Filming as a title, you'd think it would be about copyrights, illegal writings, and the like. You're slightly wrong. Instead, you get pulled into the film industry and learn what mostly happens behind the scenes as identical twin sisters discover each other after being separated at birth. They had no idea they had so much in common. What's the worst that could happen?
Hello and welcome to our program where the truth is spoken and eyes are open. Tonight we will be discussing some headlines and give a biblical perspective as response to the news. BLOOM BIO: Bloom is one of those inspiring, beautiful people you meet for a moment yet remember for a lifetime. Listening to this girl sing is like joining her in the front seat of a fast scarlet-red convertible, cruising the coast then heading for the mountains. With the feeling of the wind in your hair, you’ll have a smile on your face for the entire ride, even though it might be but for a brief moment in time before she takes off on the next part of her extraordinary journey.
Her songs, penned at the piano, are truly great pop songs yet make no mistake; these are not lightweight sugary songs with a cherry on top.
Bloom’s care-free attitude, her love of life, her stunning voice and talent for song writing, her drive and her beauty are apparent from the moment she starts to sing. This is one girl who will never give up, and who will no doubt get there – in a red convertible with the wind in her hair.
PIP BIO: Carefree and charismatic Pip, a 22 year old Southern gentleman from Marietta, Georgia, won the hearts of America when he partnered with Adam Levine on Season 2 of “The Voice”. He was briefly seen in 2011 on Oxygen’s “The Glee Project” before being chosen as one of the 5 contestants from Atlanta’s 11alive to compete for “The Voice”.
