Any year of your life belongs to a certain astrological house. When you're having a 1st-house year, the focus is on self-improvement. 2nd-house years can be lovely for the finances. People often get married during 7th-house years. Unfortunately, sometimes the years go to "bad" houses -- and this holds true for national horoscopes as much as it does for individual ones.
What happens when America has 12th-house years?
Civil rights abuses, race riots, problems with insurgencies, aviation mishaps, space exploration, the imprisonment or liberation of celebrities, the chartering of various fraternities and other secret societies and, for some odd reason, the building of big bridges. That's what happens. And more than this besides.
America will enter her 12th-house year again on 4 July 2015. The last time she had a 12th-house year was 2003 -- the Iraq War. The time before that we had the Persian Gulf War. The time before that was the Iran hostage crisis. Before that, Vietnam. The 12th-house year before that saw the development of the ICBM and near war with China. The 12th-house year prior to that one was WW2.

The author, speaker and transformational leader had been a student of Buddhism for forty-five years. He is a spiritual archeologist adept at interpreting ancient mythic language. He wrote The Buddha from Babylon after 15 years of extensive research fulfilling his personal quest to unearth the meaning of Buddhist wisdom.
According to new research, before he attained enlightenment, the historical Buddha may have been a seer-stargazer and the philosopher-king of Babylon. In a compelling, alternative biography of the Buddha, author Harvey Kraft asserts in The Buddha from Babylon that in the sixth century B.C.E. Siddhartha Gautama embarked for India after a Persian general seized the throne on the heels of an assassination of the Emperor and the purge of Babylon’s religious order.
The book then follows Siddhartha to India where he achieves Enlightenment and unveils Buddhism’s grand cosmic vision of Existence — a deep revelation that echoes today’s quantum cosmology, espouses pacifism and compassion, and predicts a future of harmony for humanity.
When it comes to the accumulation of knowledge, most nations, including our own to this day try to keep others out. But there are exceptions to every rule as we know. Today we will look at the effects of medieval Islamic scholarship in map making, optics, medicine found in 12th-17th century references in texts to Islamic thinkers. Just when freemasons were convinced it was about personnal advancement, freemasonry comes along with an obvious statement that within the scope of ideas, merit is the basis of promotion. As we examine this we find a journey into the history of Islam where the facts show threads of the mystery school we call freemasonry. In 832AD, just 70 years after the city of Bagdad was founded, the Caliph Al Ma'mun created the House of Wisdom after the Museum in Alexandria, founded about 280BC by Ptolemy I Soter, known for advanced scientific and literary scholarship. The House of Wisdom included Persian and Christian scholars drawn by the 'translation movement' of ideas and culture to transcribe knowledge into a common langauge- Arabic. Historians run out of superlatives to describe it: "an unrivaled centre for the study of humanities and science in medieval Islam including mathematics, astronomy, medicine, alchemy and chemistry, zoology, geography and cartography".
Restrictions on the source of knowledge should not exist but they do. Students of the Craft often are schooled in 'masonic' texts. But doesn't it make sense that advancement based on merit has continued the House of Wisdom, exposing all initiates to scholarship. Why is it not democratic you ask? Because intellect and ability are God given tools, not for man to question. Advancement is always about the mind and indifferent to rank and privilege.
