"Creative Conversations" presenting artist speaking about their art.

    in Visual Arts

The Participatory Music Coalition began as the sonic subcommittee of the MB Collective, a theater, performance, visual and community collective of artists integrating diverse performative traditions, especially with respect to the South Side Community Art Center and its founder, the great spirit Margaret Burroughs.

More than entertainment, participatory music is that which is meant to coordinate people, to bring them together into a community, to orient them all to a common purpose. We recognize the conjunction of music, dance, art, spirituality, ritual, and ceremony as the headwaters of the many Great Black Music traditions that have flowed from the South Side of Chicago throughout the United States, and across the globe. Whereas the 20thcentury saw this vital organism gradually dismembered by the machineries of the recording and entertainment industries, our project is to foster its integrity and wholeness through celebration of South Side Chicago community creation.

Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Eddie Sherman & Peggy Raley!

    in Music

A really good friend turned me onto True Blue Jazz this year - and I'm eternally grateful!  This absolutely fantastic Jazz series is in its third year - an alternative event source to the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival.  Eddie Sherman - with a major career and sold-out shows in his own background - met with Peggy Raley, a respected vocalist who relished Jazz.  Together, they decided that their popular beach community needed to focus on "Straight Ahead" Jazz.  The Great American Standards from 1900 to the present.  They were looking for interpretation and innovation.  They were tired of only ONE kind of Jazz being represented with the RBJF.  So, they put their heads together and came up with a beautiful solution :)

Once again this year, True Blue Jazz is giving you a delicious taste of The Real Deal - including Eddie and Peggy in performance.  Also involved: The Fred Hughes Trio (Fred returns to "Hybrid Jazz" on 10/27!) - and that trio includes Amy Shook on bass.  Amy is wrapping up her electric stint with Diva Jazz as part of the important foreground of "Tappin' Thru Life" with Maurice Hines!  This trio is making a repeat performance in the True Blue Jazz series - and they SMOKE the Clear Space Theatre!  Also set to star: young Geoff Galante (GRACIOUS, wait until you get a load of this one on trumpet!) The Jackie Browne Jazz Nonet has a terrific reputation - Eddie can't say enough about Jackie - so this night is gonna sizzle, too!  And Diane Schuur is booked for a very special night - the birthday of yours truly on 10/16!  Woo HOO!

There's another reason why this lovely endeavor needs our support: what they do for the children in Sussex County, Delaware.  True Blue's "Youth Jazz Educational Initiative" is enough to make you cry - it's that generous!  Join us on 10/12 and get ready to be excited!

The author’s experience as a ‘technical performance auditor’ encompass 28 years of observations of ‘particularistic arrangements’ and ‘universalistic regulation’ of communities, regions and sovereigns.

In America, We The People have all been BETRAYED by our elected leaders. If this is true, and it is, What do we do about it? We Americans are finally waking up to the sad and tragic fact that we have been terribly betrayed by our elected officials in DC and all the major institutions of the USG.
The anger that is now arising and smoldering in mainstream America is unfathomable to the arrogant Establishment which is now being exposed for the first time publicly for what it is, Evil beyond imagination.
I woke up 20 years ago and started the Militia in New Mexico, The Free American Magazine and this radio show. The following films show a great part of what I have learned and much of that is documented in my book, "Mystery Babylon, the New World Order Unveiled" which documents the attempt on my life and the attempted destruction of my businesses and magazines. Everything I have tried to tell you is accurate and truthful. If we are going to successfully oppose this Jewish/Communist/English New World Order we have to work together. I desperately need your support and donations to travel and continue this battle! Clay Douglas
