“Serenity” The pilot that launched the very popular Cable TV SiFi cult classic docudrama “Firefly”
The pilot, though never aired prior to the first season of the series had the same cast of colorful characters and the familiar wisecracking crew as the TV episodes.
There are several themes in the pilot that help explain many of the futuristic cultural and sociological events, norms, conventions, and institutions that were never really fully explained all that well in the TV show.
If you are a “Firefly” Fan you will want to catch this broadcast for sure!
“Life Empowering Words - Faith for your week”
A Desire For More
There has to be a desire for more than to just get by, a desire for more of the heart, will, and presence of God in one’s life. The more that we know of the Lord God almighty in an intimate way, the more we are at peace in the situations of life and the greater the victory through our faith. It’s time to get past just knowledge of God and get to the place of intimacy with God that causes a change in every area of the heart, faith, and life.
“Life Empowering Words - Faith for your week”
You Have God Given Authority
As Christians we have God given authority through the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to speak, pray, and proclaim God’s word in every situation. You were not created to lie down in defeat, or to beg God hoping he might be kind and answer your prayer. God desires for you to walk in faith and in the power of His might, given to you. Through Christ our Lord, the victory is yours! It’s time to walk in the authority of the Word of God given for you.

Over the next fifteen years after the Blackout, people have adapted to this new world without electricity and due to the collapse of government and public order, several areas were ruled by militias and their generals.

The Tuskegee Airmen Movie was first aired on T.V in 1995.
The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American military aviators in the United States armed forces. During World War II, Black Americans in many U.S. states were still subject to the Jim Crow laws and the American military was racially segregated, as was much of the federal government. The Tuskegee Airmen were subjected to racial discrimination, both within and outside the army. All black military pilots who trained in the United States trained at Moton Field and Tuskegee Army Air Field, located near Tuskegee, Alabama, which included five Haitians from the Haitian Air Force (Alix Pasquet, Raymond Cassagnol, Pelissier Nicolas, Ludovic Audant, and Eberle Guilbaud).
Although the 477th Bombardment Group trained with North American B-25 Mitchell bombers, they never served in combat. The 99th Pursuit Squadron (later, 99th Fighter Squadron) was the first black flying squadron, and the first to deploy overseas (to North Africa in April 1943, and later to Sicily and Italy). The 332nd Fighter Group, which originally included the 100th, 301st, and 302nd Fighter Squadrons, was the first black flying group. The group deployed to Italy in early 1944. In June 1944, the 332nd Fighter Group began flying heavy bomber escort missions, and in July 1944, the 99th Fighter Squadron was assigned to the 332nd Fighter Group, which then had four fighter squadrons.
Much more info can be found on the web and we incourage you to give a look at all the exciting history that pertains to the great group of Airmen.
Enjoy and Welcome to Saturday Night at the Movies
