Patrice MucCular is on the NiACOM Platform, this Saturday 4/5/2014 @ 7pm CST!
Patrice MucCular, being an ordained elder, licensed missionary and impassioned evangelist, Ms MucCular knows what it means to serve. Having ministered musically most of her life, Patrice began singing with her siblings at an early age, accompanying her pastor/father during revivals and other activities throughout the Churches of God in Christ.
By age 16, Patrice's passion for music led her to play the violin and direct both the youth and young adult choirs of the PowerHouseChurch in San Pablo City, Calif. Marrying at an early age took Patrice to another level of service. Her late husband, Vodie MucCular, used his vision as a gospel promoter to lead the couple to co-host "Gospel Is," a good news television ministry on Comcast Cable that ran for 16 years. At the same time, Patrice served as a gospel radio announcer while raising a family, working part and full-time jobs, attending college, and contributing service through a variety of outreach ministries. Her hard work paid off when, three sons later, she was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in human services in 2001. In 2005, she received the Family of the Year Award in Stockton.
Patrice has an immense love for children, and her passion is evident in her endeavors. She is a former preschool teacher now serving as a social worker with Head Start of San Joaquin County. Her second love is the jail ministry, in which she conducts singing and preaching sessions for incarcerated women and men throughout the state.
As the proud pastor of New Covenant Tabernacle of Lodi, a non-denominational church under the umbrella of the Visionaries Pursuing Excellence, Inc., Patrice continues to share her love of the gospel. The release of her album, Yes Lord, has furthered her ministry of music, and she has absolutely no plans of slowing down.
At the top of the show host Cyrus Webb welcomes back author Zetta Elliott to Conversations LIVE to discuss her new book SHIP OF SOULS. Then at 15 min. past the hour, Webb talks with recording artist Patrice MucCular about her ministry of music and new single.

Patrice says "In November 2009, after an 8 and a half years with the disease, my mother gained her wings and joined her oldest sister and her mom (both cancer victims) in heaven. With one maternal aunt surviving cancer, I saw no choice but to find out all I could of this horrible disease and how to keep it from affecting me and my daughters.
As my mother’s last gift to me at her final doctors visit, she donated to me her DNA, so that any testing needed could be done. WHAT A WONDERFUL GIFT! In January 2010, I started my first doctor visits. I spoke with my mom’s Oncologist regarding how in depth the cancer was and what my chances were at the time of possibly getting cancer. I spoke to specialist about testing for certain genes that my family might have . I finally decided something more HAD to be done. The doctor stated with my chances of getting cancer, that it would be best for me to have testing every six months or I could go ahead and have a double mastectomy and reconstruction. That weighed heavily on me at first but with thoughts going back to all my mom and aunts had gone through, it became an easy decision….I was having surgery! I spoke to mom’s Oncologist who recommended the perfect person to perform my Mastectomy and a great friend who had already been through the procedure introduced me to my plastic surgeon. Together, we had the perfect team! This was something I had to do not just for me but for my future – my kids. I wanted to be around for them."
