    Join ParaNation as we close out 2013 with a horrifying bang as Alex Matsuo talks to Ed and Marsha Becker about their terrfying experience with the paranormal that led to the first televised exorcism on NBC in 1971.  The Beckers' story has been featured on SyFy's Paranormal Witness on the episode, "The Tenants", and depicted in Ed's best-selling book, True Haunting.

    Edwin F. Becker has also acted as guest, host and co-host on numerous commercial and internet radio shows in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom and Australia. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, a Baby Boomer. Coming from an abusive broken home, he spent a number of elementary years in Maryville, a Catholic children's institution. There, he learned Latin and became an altar boy. He went on to become a professional musician and spent his later teen years traveling the states with an R&B Show band. During his travels, he met and married his wife, Marsha, of 47 years.

    Ed has been writing original stories for over three decades for pure enjoyment. He has two daughters that have given him four granddaughters. Today Ed and Marsha reside in Branson, where they enjoy the year around activity and entertainment. Ed is very opinionated and many of his works contain a strong social subtext.     Victoria Rosancrans will be on for the first hour. Victoria is the owner of Spirit Reachers, LLC Holistic & Spiritual Center, Spirit Reachers Ghost Hunts, and Spirit Reachers Historic Walking Tours. Victoria founded Spirit Reachers Paranormal Team in 2012. She and many of her investigators have experienced paranormal activity in their lives. Victoria and her team are dedicated to preserving historic buildings in their community. As of 2014 Spirit Reachers has donated over $3,000 to local non-profit historic buildings. Victoria is the co-founder and co-sponsor of the Priestley Forsyth Memorial Library Teen Paranormal Club. Victoria believes that to have trained and educated paranormal groups in our future, we need to start with our interested youth.

    In the second hour, Sabrina Beackley will be our guest. She is from Williamsport, PA with five children and one granddaughter with a very determined goal of becoming a psychologist in the future.  She holds an associate degree in Criminal Justice/Psychology and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She has been studying the paranormal field for over eighteen’s years now and has worked with some of the most educated people in the paranormal network. She is the owner and founder of an educational/training paranormal group called (Ghost Under Investigation) of Northern Central Pennsylvania and the owner of (Para-Eventz), and brings the “strange and unusual” lectures /shows into my community.  Sabrina is a Pennsylvania's state affiliated for (Evermore Paranormal) and has appeared on many internet talk shows. She has also had the honor of speaking on (Pennsylvania Institute of Technology) and recently appeared on WRAK with Ted Saul (Community Cares.)

    Lurking Creatures: Talking Cryptozoology With Robin Bellamy

    Join ParaNation Radio as Alex Matsuo interviews Robin Bellamy and picks her brain about cryptozoology.  She is the primary blogger for the Centre for Fortean Zoology-Canada.

    Robin was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia in the early 1960's and lived for many years in nearby Ravenswood. Robin found herself living in Toronto, Canada in 2000.  Through a series of unusual events, she became a member of Toronto Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society and added paranormal research to her resume.  Robin has served that organization as a Director and its parent organization PSICAN (Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada) as a board member, Director of Cryptozoology, and Chief Financial Officer.  Since leaving those posts in 2012 she continues to consult with film, television, and other media writers.

    Robin has published "Haunt Cuisine"; an eclectic collection of recipes and attendant ghost stories from North America.  Each recipe is simple and each story researched and presented from witness reports.  Her sophomore book entitled "Haunted Hospitality" is the historical account of the ghosts of the Lowe Hotel in Point Pleasant.  "Haunt Cuisine" and Robin's publications can be found at www.amazon.com.  Robin was featured in the Canadian press junket for the film "White Noise", on camera work for SyFy Investigates and Freak Encounters, does script and technical consulting, and speaks often at seminars and festivals as well as college campuses.  She recently appeared in the documentary "30 Ghosts", due to be released April 25, 2012.  Her experience as a radio personality in West Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina provide her with a good working knowledge of the press and an easy rapport with all audiences.

    Paranormal & Science: Interview With David M. Rountree

    David was born in 1954 in Suffolk, VA, but moved to Delray Beach, FL, in the fall of '63, where he first became interested in the paranormal. David is a professional member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Audio Engineering Society, the International Frequency Sensor Association, and is also affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.  David is currently working on his doctorate in physics.

    David began his research into the paranormal professionally in 1976, and has experimented with both scientific as well as metaphysical techniques in his study of unexplained occurrences. In 1992 David formed Scientific Paranormal Investigative Research Information and Technology (S.P.I.R.I.T.). His primary focus since 1998 has been EVP research, employing his background of audio engineering and psychoacoustics. In 2005 David successfully linked electromagnetic fields as the primary source of EVPs. His EVP research has led to the development of his Wormhole Theory and the Mutiverse Theory concerning the source for paranormal events. Additionally he is studying the Mechanics of Mediumship as well as researching therapeutic treatments for mediums suffering from symptoms of fibromyalgia. David is a board member of the Professional Society for the Advancement of Paranormal Research and is currently serving as Acting Executive Director. He is the Director of the S.P.I.R.I.T. Laboratory, Co-Director of New Jersey Paranormal Resource Group, Co-Founder of New Jersey Paranormal Investigative Coalition, a professional member of the Rhine Research Center, life member of the New Jersey Ghost Hunter’s Society, member of the International Paranormal Investigators, and a member of the International Paranormal Research Association. He is currently waiting on membership in the Society for Psychical Research, the oldest paranormal research group in the world still operating. He lives and works in New Jersey.
