    Mana Talk w/ Jim Young

    in Politics

    Aloha!

You still have the power to save the entire world and its inhabitants from abuse, corruption, pollution, and total destruction.

There is still time and a way….

Myself and many others do believe it is our purpose to make sure our earth is preserved and better taken care of for all that live upon it now and on into the future.

Besides working my regular 9 to 5 job, my other full time job  is to do my very best to make sure that  everyone’s lives are far more enjoyable and eventually have  far less pain and suffering.

Sadly, today and in the future we are still going to have idiots running cities, states and nations, morons running factories and corporations abusing their power upon their employees as those employees have become slaves once again.

I believe that we’ve got to get the needed knowledge to all those that are being led by fear into hate, lies upon falsities and unprovable laid claims.

Within the United States there is only one last true power, and that is our power to vote, and that is slowly being stripped away from us as well.  We’ve got to retain this power and use it wisely as we continue to evolve as an intelligent and decent species.

In recent years the ultra-rich have taken over AM radio and made most media and cable outlets their slaves…  The majority of the 1% have become sickened with greed and power thus using religion as an excuse to do their hideous and heinous acts upon their fellow man and our mother earth.

You must be that utmost voice of true and absolute fact that reaches out to the masses providing the proper steps to a far better path than what has been laid out by many of our bought and paid for  legislators, judiciaries and executives.

Do what you will from here...

    Mahalo nui loha!

Callers may call in toward the end of Jim’s show with questions or comments and some shows include 5 minute free mini navigational consultations (today's show will not get to live calls).
Todays Show live Column read: Drippy Nose

“...After my return from my family reunion, my practical, conscious mind rationalized that my sinus infection was due to the tremendous vegetation blooming in California while I was visiting. I also figured that the flight itself might have contributed to my sinus infection. Yet my wiser, intuitive self knew there was far more to this than physical causes. Almost all of my family reunions, wherever they were, often resulted in a sinus infection. My nose had been raw from blowing it so many times. I had decided after my last sinus infection to see it as an opportunity to resolve a physical and emotional issue that my body was attempting to get me to recognize. Louise Hay’s brilliant book You Can Heal Your Life lists all kinds of physical conditions and illnesses, and explains the psychological cause and where they come from...” Join me for a discussion about how emotional and psycolgical themes are often the seed behind physcial struggles, and how we can heal from the inside out!

    Microaggression Same as Prejudice Behavior

    in Relationships

Microaggressions are more than just insults and insensitive comments that show people's biases against marginalized groups leaving their victims feeling uncomfortable or insulted Remarks, questions, and actions  are painful because they have to do with a person's membership in a group that's discriminated against; they happen casually and often without any harm intended.  These racial assaults to black dignity  are incessant and cumulative. The major vehicle for racism in this country is offenses done to blacks by whites in this sort of gratuitous never ending way. These offenses are microaggressions. Almost all black: white racial interactions are characterized by white put-downs, done in automatic,  fashion. These mini disasters accumulate. Statements appear to be a compliment or a joke, but contain a hidden insult about a group of people.

Since our thoughts often determine our actions, implicit bias can lead to discriminatory behaviors; it's no surprise race is a prime area for implicit bias, and if you live in America,There's a widespread preference for light skinned over dark skinned and white over black. The implicit associations we hold often don't align with our declared beliefs. Racial minorities can hold implicit biases against themselves, too. These results are rarely reflective of conscious attitudes. The most popular of these tests is the Implicit Association Test, or IAT. Anthony Greenwald and his colleagues invented it in the mid-1990s. mplicit racial bias can shape our beliefs and assumptions, color the way we treat other people, and even help decide what "feels true" for us when it comes to larger social and political issues. The sum total of multiple microaggressions by whites to blacks that has pervasive effect to the stability and peace of this world.
