Native American Legends & Heroes: Crazy Horse

    in Education

Crazy Horse was born on the Republican River about 1845. He was killed at Fort Robinson, Nebraska, in 1877, so that he lived barely thirty-three years.

He was an uncommonly handsome man. While not the equal of Gall in magnificence and imposing stature, he was physically perfect, an Apollo in symmetry. Furthermore he was a true type of Indian refinement and grace. He was modest and courteous as Chief Joseph; the difference is that he was a born warrior, while Joseph was not. However, he was a gentle warrior, a true brave, who stood for the highest ideal of the Sioux [Lakota.]  Notwithstanding all that biased historians have said of him, it is only fair to judge a man by the estimate of his own people rather than that of his enemies.

Erica Joseph Shepherd Christian are suffering needlessly because of demons

    in Christianity

At one time I believe that Christians could not possibly have demons. However I now know for certain that Christians can and do have demons. I have also discovered that the biggest infestation of demonic influence with the body of Christ has come through the Transference of spirits. Through my experiences over the past 30 years of casting out demons, dealing with exorcisms, deliverance, inner healing and seeing spirits departing from within the souls and bodies of Christians and non-Christians  I know without a shadow of doubt that not only can Christians have demons, evil spirits, unclean spirits and familiar spirits they also have many other types of spiritual bondages as well. I believe people have translated the Bible and they have used a word called possessed, when people had problems with demons. To explain more about possession, let me do a word study with you. The Greek word;daimonizomai, has been translated into the word possessed and this is not totally correct if you look up this Greek word, you will find that it also means to have a demon, or to be under the influence of a demon. The Amplified Bible has translated this better than other translations. When evening came, they brought to Jesus many who were under the power of demons, and Jesus drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick. Matthew 8:16, The word possessed means to have full control or dominion over, totally controlled by and not have our own will anymore. Christians can't be possessed by demons as such. But Christian can be under the power of Influenced and oppressed by demons, I also know that many Christians today are suffering needlessly because of demons. The Good News Christians can be healed and delivered from them also. 1-877-795-7110

The PODcast #5: Is Calvin Johnson still Megatron?

    in Football

(5:03) Quick HIts - Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy gets in his hot take on the Detroit Lions losing. Also, Dan Campbell is a head coach now? Really?

(12:23) "So about last night..." - Chris, Ryan, Alex, and Jeremy all join forces this week to push past the pain and anguish of a fumble at the one yard line. There's other juicy angles from Seattle/Lions to discuss: for instance, how good can Calvin Johnson be moving forward? Is he struggling in the offense or is he on the decline?

(23:53) "Can we talk about Arizona?" - An attempt to preview the Arizona Cardinals and what seems to be an improbably awful matchup for the Detroit Lions. Chris really doesn't like the idea of Carson Palmer being good.

(36:18) Questions! - Jeremy talks about Seattle fans, and an interesting question about the future of the Green Bay Packers. Also, how can the Lions run scheme get fixed?

(52:28) Some nonsense - Audio problems forced us to cut a segment where the four watched a video of some drunk dude demanding macaroni and cheese. They talk about drunk food and other casual topics instead.
