No Justice No Peace Fergunson Missouri

    in Current Events

Where do we go from here, New York with Eric Gardner, now Michael Brown in Ferguson? When will the bloodshed of our African American Males stop in the United States of America? Who will be there brother's Keepers? It is a Black and White issue? Why do people run and hide when we talk about race relations in the US? Do people understand the underlying issues in these cases? Why 3 autopsies on the same body? Does the criminal Justice system not trust itself? What are the bigger issues that need to come from these cases. Does it seem like the system is trying to protect police officers and seem to give the impression that they are passing judgement before it can be rendered in a court of law?

"No Justice - No Peace!" - KINDRED SPIRITS LIVE with Giles Warren & Ed Smith

    in Current Events

The FERGUSON Affair and the Michael Brown case will be the topic of this discussion with hosts, Giles Warren and Ed Smith.

The family of Michael Brown released a statement Monday, November 24, 2014 in response to a grand jury's decision not to indict the police officer who fatally shot Brown in August.

The statement urged peaceful protest from their supporters.

We're profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions.

While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen.

Join with us in our campaign to ensure that every police officer working the streets in this country wears a body camera.

We respectfully ask that you please keep your protests peaceful. Answering violence with violence is not the appropriate reaction.

Let's not just make noise, let's make a difference.  #HandsUp

Romans 13:1-5 Everyone must submit themselves to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, the one who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong.

Praying Through the Bible #46 | with Daniel Whyte III

    TEXT: Psalm 17:1-6

We are in a series of messages titled "Praying Through the Bible: A Series on Every Passage and Verse Regarding Prayer in the Bible". The purpose of this series is to encourage and motivate you to pray to the God of the Bible. We highlighted each of these over 500 verses and passages in the new Prayer Motivator Devotional Bible. So far, we have done 45 messages in this series.

This is message #46 titled "No Prayer: No Justice, or Peace."

All people, black, white, red, and yellow have had the experience of being treated unjustly or unfairly from time to time in their lives. Many of us can identify with the experiences of someone flat out lying on us, treating us one way and treating other people another way because of our race or because of where we are from or because of our religion or faith, or being hostile towards us for no apparent reason. This week, many people across America have expressed their belief that the ruling in the Trayvon Martin case was unfair and unjust and many people believe that the treatment and the threats and the call for more charges against George Zimmerman is unfair and unjust. Wherever you fall on this tragic issue is between you and God, however responding in evil, wicked, violent ways is not productive for our country, for our states, for our cities, for our churches, or for ourselves. It does nothing but cause more strife and more division among us. Here is what Jesus Christ said about it in Matthew 5:38-40: "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also."...

WWIAAL with DJ Gatsby- "The Police Shooting Of Michael Brown & The Aftermath

    in Entertainment

Join me this "Thanksgiving Eve" as we give thanks for all the "Blessings" that have been bestowed upon us and our familys this Holiday Season. God has been good to all of us we should all be thankful for this day and all the days of our lives. But before we gather around the dinner table for our Annual Family Gathering and Thanksgiving Day Feast I would like to invite you to call in for a Special Edition of WWIAAL Literature with DJ Gatsby as we  discuss the Tragic Shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri and the subsequent decision by the Federal Grand Jury to not indict the police officer who shot and killed  him on any ot the charges listed in the 5 count Indictment.

In the aftermath of the decision young blacks are  looting, rioting and acting out in violent, lawless ways at the decision not to porsecute this police office. Call in and give a Happy Thanksgiving shout out to all of your family and friends and lets us know how you feel about this travesty of justice. We all understand the anger and frustration because we all know that the killing of this young man was fundamentally wrong.
