Actor Alec Baldwin has a new show on MSNBC. It’s called Up Late. It debuted this past Friday. His only guest was the actress Debra Winger. They talked inside acting and anti-fracking.
Here to discuss it with me is Cate Meighan. She is a writer at Celeb Dirty Water.
MSNBC is in really bad shape. Primetime ratings are down 24%. Even worse, the network lost money in 2013. While CNN's revenue grew by 2%, and Fox News grew by 5%, MSNBC dropped by 2%. The lean forward network's decline can be traced back to a series of bad programming decisions that began with getting rid of Keith Olbermann.

Monday I made the mistake of returning to the live airwaves too early. Tuesday I took a step backwards into illness and weakness. Yesterday I fet more like myself. Today I'm pretty much back to normal. But I'm still awaiting a phone call regarding my dad and his securing of a personal care physician, and when I attempted to initiate telephone contact, I got a busy signal. So that means the Wayback Machine stays airborne. And given that there's not going to be a government shutdown this time as there was two years ago, consider this a sop to Tea Party Nostalgia.
In this episode of "The libertarian Perspective" Robert and friends will examine the UCC shooting event and discuss what is needed to prevent such criminal events from happening again in the future. Should we have more guns? Should we have fewer guns? How did the psychiatric community fail, yet again, in this case? How can they change that paradigm? How can our society change that paradigm?
Loki King will also share his thoughts on this tragedy from the perspective of a Roseburg native. Born and raised in Roseburg, Loki knows many of the victims' families. He will give us his perspective on who the REAL hero's were and who the fake heroes are.
John Parker will also be our guest to discuss his comments made to MSNBC and other networks regarding his actions, or rather, inactions, that day and why he made the choices he did.

The arrival of classic hop-hop as its own category represents a cultural turning point: Just as rock and roll once did, a rebellious art form profoundly associated with youth has reached a moment in its life cycle when a significant number of its fans—and all of its founding fathers—are decisively middle-aged. Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the series of Bronx dance parties that brought hip-hop into existence. This year, both surviving members of the legendary rap group Run-D.M.C. turn 50.
