This episode of A Sound Heart explores the doctrine of the persecution of believing ones. Persecution of believing ones started in the first century. Stephen was the first martyr of the church of Jesus, and was most certainly not the last. Many have suffered for their identification with Jesus. Paul's letter to the Romans, and the letter to the Hebrews address this poignant reality. Jesus himself said that in this world (age) we would suffer persecution. Prejudice toward believing ones will remain. God notes the evil that is done to his followers who have done no harm, but who are nevertheless treated with cruel mockery and arrogant hostile outrage.

Ted Winslow, is a New Age Sound Healing musician but...in a non-traditional way. Ted incorporates his SoundSyncTech™ technology along with the tunings of the Sacred Solfeggio Frequencies & other Sound Healing Frequencies. Ted takes the listener on a spiritual healing journey that can be used every day to bring themselves back to a state of relaxation and oneness. This is a great way to rid the body from negative energies we might be subjected to everyday. This is not just your typical strumming of a guitar, ringing a crystal bowl or chanting with a medicine drum. Ted uses a few of the forgotten sacred tunings and plays a multitude of sound healing instruments. He incorporates Theta frequencies so that we can allow the mind to travel in between conscious and subconscious by listening and focusing on the music. Ted's music is beneficial to Yoga Practices, Meditation or just to relax. Ted has proven his music can decrease stress levels, energetically open & align you while increasing your energy - all by listening to ONE SONG! Ted Winslow is dedicated to raising consciousness and is offering a sound healing album (mp3 format) to anyone who calls in LIVE or contacts him from the show.

12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey. 13 And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the sonof James.
25 to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.” 26 And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
'Where the light is brightest, the shadows are deepest'- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
In his day, Goethe's thought about the work of that other genius, Issac Newton and some of it made him angry. It was because of the assumptions that were suggested by Newton, particularly the conviction that this was the defining, absolute science. In a way, this was saying there was no other 'plan B'. Goethe made this clearer for us by saying Newtons work denied shadows power. He went on to illustrate this in a story of a giant with no power whose shadow had great power. The giant was Newton of course. It would be immodest of me to suggest it was genius reacting to genius so read it for yourself and decide.
Genius often reveals what we understand without knowing how we know it. Similarly, do we know how radical ideas created Freemasonry? We know the Hiram allegory was the product of careful observation and contemplation from a time when quoting the ideas of someone else was more highly valued that original thought. We know the foundation of thought came well before governance and organization. We know also, that it reflects the stages of cultural and intellectual change. History teaches us about The Age of Enlightenment, The Reformation, and the Renaissance. As we study freemasonry, we begin to understand in time past, when orthodoxy was a matter of life or death, it was best for men to kept liberal thoughts underground. We trace the It was produced by serious thought and had a purpose for man. There were always men thinking beyond the control of church and state. Adherence to church doctrine and swearing fidelity to the King was a sensible way to live. It took us many generations to carry on the right to probe darkness.
