The topic of the week is "Let's Stop the Labels".
People with disabilities should be looked at by their abilities not what they're incapable of doing. There needs to be a stop with degradation segregation stereotypes and no one deserves to be pitied.
Many people with disabilities have more drive, initiative, and motivation more than most "normal" lazy people do without a disability.

Objective: To recognize how the Book of Genesis relates to us today.
Memorize: Romans 5:12
Reading: Genesis chptrs 1,2,and 3
What was the result of the sin of man and the woman? (Gen 37-8)
What was the penalty for sin for (Gen 3:14-19) THe Serpen? The Woman? and the Man?
How was man's relationship to God altered? (Gen 3:8-10)
What did God promise regarding satan's destiny(Gen 3:15)
Sirens Wail, body counts are piling up and only a few survivors stand aside, surveying the carnage. As Bernie & Donald take a victory lap, the astonished elites sit with their heads down, nursing a sense of panic while holding their brains in their laps. WHAT WENT WRONG?!!
Are the CORRUPT BIG PARTIES cratering, falling apart, imploding on their way to bursting into flames then burning to ash? The consensus picks for both the DEMS & GOP have fallen by the wayside and the race just started. All the money & superpacs in the world cannot stem the tide. And the moral to the story is -- Americans are demanding change. We are sick to death of the lies, compromise, lack of vision, and corruption. Even worse is the inevitable outcome of decay and fall. Like Rush says -- Obama is changing the US and nobody is standing up against it, let alone talking about it.
Hillary absolutely had her teeth kicked in by Sanders by 20 points. Trump doubled his nearest challenger, winning by 37,000 votes. Sanders won by about the same, despite running against one opponent. Kasich lives another day, as does Cruz. But how do Bush and Rubio justify their robotic & even shambolic existences? As Charles Darwin once preached -- Some must die so others might live. Which leads to another Q: is hillary Queen of hari Kari? Does she exist, exhaling self-righteousness and condescension with every breath only to get taken out like a mole on the front lawn?
Since no one has a crystal ball, and both candidates destined to be gone -- Trump & Sanders -- are snw leading, only time can reveal what US electoral futures hold.
Until then, take care sportfans
ps...please take care to watch for & not to run over political roadkill!
We shall flip through a few social and basic brain injury Coping Skills, as I cope with the end of Payton Manning's carrer. We will discuss much, but after 10:30, unless you can talk Saddi into picking up the mic. A couple of speakers will stop by, and a couple of rock and roll songs if need be. I said, 10:30. Usually we on TMDS are very curteous and accept VERY early calls, which eliminates my preparation, and that's cool. I'd rather talk Live! with someone than, uh, "teach"'.
We will rock, we will ralk. Probably laugh, go ahead and "get my goose" for being 'late'. Or, is that when you turned us on anyway. And, TMDS is a Support Group, yes World Wide (Super Bowl is like our 'Football' championship or Cricket title). Check it out, there are some really neat commercials, no matter what country you are from.
Bring the leftover chips, and BYOB (as always) let's rock! And, as a lifelong Colts fan, man this hurts but 'Go Bronco's;' Nary a concussion fella's...

Brain injury survivors, Lisa Dryer and Cam Compton join me to discuss reasonable and responsible and realistic resolutions in the new year. Cam and Lisa both are challenged by many health issues. Lisa is living with Multiple Sclerosis, (MS.) and Cam had a stroke nearly four years ago. Their debilitating illnesses take a toll on each of their lives. Were going to find out how Cam and Lisa approach resolutions in the new year, how they decide if they are reasonable challenges, and how they attack their illnesses to make their lives better.
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College plans, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slip from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating. But as Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." Life is all about choices!

Generation after generation, our Black families have suffered through slavery, poverty, and drug addictions.
With that being said, there have been instances where Black children have been placed in the system under the umbrella of foster care and then sometimes adoption. What is the system like that has been taken from their family? Does it matter that their are cultural differences between what white people think and what Black people think is different such as the way you discipline your child? What is a CASA or Guardian Ad litem?
We will discuss this matter and discuss how we can be more involved in caring for our own.
In the second (and really first official) episode of Bantering The Blueshirts (Blueshirt Banter's official podcast) Joe Fortunato and Mike Murphy tackle Ryan McDonagh's concussion, Dylan McIrath being an afterthought and the new roles Dan Girardi and Marc Staal will have to take on without McDonagh.
We'll also talk about what the Rangers could do to fix their problems on defense, what the timeline should be for a Keith Yandle resolution, how the Dustin Byfuglein contract impacts that sitation and what the Rangers should do with the defense.
All right here, on Blueshirt Banter's official weekly New York Rangers podcast!
