America, the Fourth Reich: The Religious Beliefs of the Candidates; Debates

    in Culture

The Church the Source of Culture

Secular academics insist that the Church is a subset of culture, and that it synthesizes the evolving political and social consciousness of people over a period of time.  Religious people say that the Church is the source of culture; the values of the culture have their origin in the spiritual life of the Church, and that the Truths of the Church are not derivative, but original, absolute, and even comes from an UnCreated Sacred Source that is Supernatural to the mundane reality of regular life.

    The Attack On the Church

The attack on the Church has been political, and it has been social. Political in that it challenge and redefined the consult of the office of political authority, political sovereignty, and the role of the peoples to the crown, or the political authority. Even though this has happen, human behaviour towards authority has not changed,

Social changed in moral  who defines what morals a society follows, and how to enforce or allow for difference.

Being Outted: The Morphing of Masonry or How Good Men Are Duped

    in Lifestyle

Moving forward while preserving trust.  While we have been getting older, sixty-two people accumulated as much wealth as 1/2 the population of Earth. History tells us that imbalances like this are always resolved under attack. Roman outlawed hubris.  It was wrong minded and provocative to lord riches and rank above citizens. They eventually repealed that law, an fell into moral, economic and military decline. Once again, wealth has become a symbol of greed.  Men who have nothing, when they loose hope are a danger.  Children are starving, dying.  The diaspora in the millions are heading to the west. Agri-business has replaced the family farm but wealth has been there to buy up acreage for estate living. I believe freemasonry has enough resiliency to weather this instability but what comes of this new age reformation will be changed. We still trade on genius and celebrity, pleased having some curb appeal knowing thousands and thousands of contributions and acts of kindness eventually come together to define nations as they define us.  We have never wanted to compete with cultural power.  We share an unassailable belief in the goodness of mankind, helping the misfortunate and dedication to the advancement of humanity through arts & science; the two fascinations that define humanity. We modernize as we always have, as a small group of men with an honourable history and enduring moral alternative.

Bringing others to an initial consultation

    in Legal

When individuals begin a divorce or family law matter, it can be a stressful experience.  Many want the moral support from a close friend or family law matter.  While this desire is natural in many ways, this episode discusses the risks involved.  These risks involves the doctrines of attorney-client privilege, confidentiality and waiver.

This episode is based on an episode on Family Law Headquarters titled: Is it wise to bring another person to an initial consultation?

Acts 18: Paul's Adventures in Corinth—on Probing the Prophets with Rod

    in Religion

Paul left Athens, seemingly unsuccesful there. He next arrived at Corinth, the bawdy underbelly of the Mediterranean. "Blue collar," "red neck" and "lusty" might well describe this city. So decadent was Corinth that any young girl throughout the region who pursued the path of moral looseness was said to have "Corinthianized."

Yet, in this worldly city, Paul's message seemed to resonate with many. He spent 18 months there, impacting many people and much surrounding territory.

While in Corinth Paul had encounters with synagogue leaders, with Roman Proconsuls and with tent makers. Luke records interesting details of all three.

Also--and this is big--Paul began writing letters that were later collected into a major section of our New Covenant documents. Both letters to the Thessalonians were written while Paul was here at Corinth.

    We'll enjoy this chapter.

Fascists vs Americans, who's who in the zoo? Baphomet goats vs God's sheep.

    in Current Events

We are, every one of us, in the valleys of decision, but many people let others make decisions for them, and this generation is ruled by false shepherds, wicked parents, treasonous rulers, and the spiritually blind. Has God shown to you the paths of righteousness and life? Have people in your family and church been confirming what God is telling you, or are most people in your life blind, deceived, unconcerned and spiritually blind? When God destroyed the world with the deluge most people did not believe it would end. They worked, married, raised children, and lived their normal and presumptive lives, until the day the flood came, and took them all away. But many people have made decisions that separate them from the human family, they've chosen to act as agents of terror and force, because their inner soul is filled with lust and terror. These are the demonized fascists that rail against the bands and chords of moral constraint, and they are the rebels that serve the first rebel, the devil.

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1284

    in Self Help

SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "Child Abuse, Trauma and 12-Step Recovery" - STEP 4 (and we'll include a bit about TRADITION 4) - SCAN host Bill Murray will be joined by special guest co-host Rivka Edery, MSW, LCSW, author of the book "Trauma and Transformation: A 12-Step Guide." Bill founded the recently launched Adult Survivors of Child Abuse Anonymous (ASCAA). Together they will lead tonight's discussion on STEP 4: "Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves."Most survivors, unless they are in a crisis, do not put much thought into what happened; the people, places, things, and reactions to events that have long-shaped their life. But if you have not yet taken a look at what traumata shaped your personality, behaviors, fears, and ways of responding in life, Step Four is a good opportunity to stop and think about it. Perhaps you have reached the day when you realize that you are not living your life as you really want to. Perhaps you feel a deep inner longing for healthy, secure attachment, love and a more kind relationship with yourself. You may experience a longing for life as you were told it was supposed to be but you have no evidence that you are living such a life. ~~ A child abuse survivor herself, Rivka Edery has been active in the 12 Step community for nearly 20 years. Bill Murray credits his 30 plus years of recovery to the spiritual power of the 12 Step program, too. ~~ Join us every two weeks to further examine a 12 Step approach to recovery from abuse. Next show we'll address STEP 5 & TRADITION 5. ~~ Please see our web page at: www.NAASCA.org/Trauma-12Step or write to Rivka at: rebecca.edery@gmail.com

"From Pain to Purpose" with Pastor Nedra - Pregnant With Purpose

    in Spirituality

Every reflective person sooner or later faces certain questions: What is the purpose of my life? How do I find a moral compass so I can tell right from wrong? What should I do day by day to feel fulfillment and deep joy?

The two greatest days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out what your purpose is, but if you don't know what your purpose is than you don't know why you are here, and it can be hard to keep going.

BWE Online Bible Study with Minister LISA Kai

    in The Bible

We should read and study the Bible because it is God's Word to us. The Bible is literally "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16). In other words, it is God's very words to us. There are so many questions that philosophers have asked that God answers for us in Scripture. What is the purpose to life? Where did I come from? Is there life after death? How do I get to heaven? Why is the world full of evil? Why do I struggle to do good? In addition to these "big" questions, the Bible gives much practical advice in areas such as: What do I look for in a mate? How can I have a successful marriage? How can I be a good friend? How can I be a good parent? What is success and how do I achieve it? How can I change? What really matters in life? How can I live so that I do not look back with regret? How can I handle the unfair circumstances and bad events of life victoriously?

We should read and study the Bible because it is totally reliable and without error. The Bible is unique among so-called "holy" books in that it does not merely give moral teaching and say, "Trust me." Instead, we can read it for ourselves.

    in Politics

Super Dave is back!  Election season is here and what do we need to know?  We are always being told we are a "moral" country but I am fascinated by the definition of "moral."  Why is the establishment so adamant about making sure Donald Trump is defeated?
