Almost expectedly, the Bulls came out flat in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Cleveland Cavaliers after getting the win in Game 1. Derrick Rose and his teammates still seem confused about their irregular level of preparedness at the start of games. After falling into a big first quarter hole, the Bulls couldn't dig themselves out like they did against the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round. Now they return home to play Games 3 & 4 in Chicago with the series tied 1-1. Can the up-and-down Bulls make a stand and take control of the series? Meanwhile, rumors continue to swirl around not only Chicago, but the national media regarding Tom Thibodeau's rift with the Bulls' front office and his impending departure from the team. This isn't the first time such a rift has threatened to break up a Bulls team with championship potential...Who remembers Jerry Krause? I've also got a review of Game 3 between the Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild, plus a look ahead at tonight's Game 4. The Hawks can move on to the Western Conference finals with a win, and the Wild are fighting for their playoff life. All this plus your phone calls @ (347) 327-9183!

After seizing a commanding 3-0 series lead over the young and inexperienced Milwaukee Bucks, the Chicago Bulls find themselves heading back to Milwaukee to play a Game 6 after losing two straight. There are many questions surrounding this Bulls team as they struggle to put away what many believe to be an inferior opponent. Turnovers, poor shooting, and an apparent lack of desire didn't come between the Bulls and 3 early victories in this series, but now they're in trouble. With new developments elsewhere in the Eastern Conference playoffs seemingly opening the door for the Bulls to reach the NBA Finals, will they get their act together and put the Bucks away? The Chicago Blackhawks, meanwhile, managed to finish off the Nashville Predators in six games, and now are preparing to take on the Minnesota Wild in the second round. This is the 3rd straight year these teams will meet in the playoffs. But after sending the Wild home in 2013 and 2014, the Blackhawks face a much bigger challenge this time around. Calgary Flames coach Bob Hartley hopes they have a little bit of surprise left.Trailing the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 in the best-of-7 Western Conference Second Round, Hartley is resolute heading into Game 5 at Honda Center on Sunday (10 p.m. ET; NBCSN, SN, TVA Sports)."There's a full belief and my message is, 'Shock the hockey world,'" Hartley said. "That's what we're trying to do every day and it's nothing new to us. It's just rewind and press play. Playoffs, anything can happen, and especially in our situation. We want to keep going. This has been a great season for us. I know how resilient our players have been. It's not that we're down 1-3 or that we didn't win in Anaheim.
"We need to win one game. Let's win one game, let's bring it back to the 'C of Red,' and after this, let's see what happens. We need to win [Sunday] night, plain and simple."
NEWARK, N.J. -- When Joshua Harris was announced as co-owner and chairman of the New Jersey Devils in August 2013, he was adamant about being in it to win it.After not qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs the past three seasons, New Jersey has reached the postseason once in the past five and has finished no higher than fourth in its division.Harris, a self-proclaimed impatient individual driven to succeed in whatever he does, is confident that the recent addition of Ray Shero as general manager

The Bulls got off to a solid start, winning Game 1 of this much-anticipated Eastern Conference showdown with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. What are the keys to this series moving forward? What adjustments will the Cavs make in Game 2? Will Derrick Rose continue to struggle in games played after just one day of rest? The Bears continued their rebuilding process with a fairly successful NFL Draft over the weekend. Which of these new Bears can make an instant impact? Why didn't the Bears draft a quarterback? The Blackhawks are in Minnesota tonight for Game 3 of their second round series with the Wild. Leading the series 2-0 thanks to firepower from star players, can the Blackhawks buck their trend of losing Game 3s on the road? All this plus your phone calls at (347) 327-9183!
