Do you seem to have a mental war taking place in your mind?
Do you want to quiet the conflict playing out in your thoughts?
Are you contributing to the struggle you are experiencing without realizing it?

Today on Lighten Up with Jen and Cheri we are talking about Cognitive Dissonance; what is it?, how did it take over our mind? and what do we do about it?

When we become aware of the discomfort that comes from inconsistent thoughts, beliefs and attitudes we often do everything we can do avoid anything that triggers that specific discomfort. We think we are putting an end to our pain. The problem is we are only avoiding the pain! The Dissonance is still within us, waiting to be unleashed again. What can we do about Cognitive Dissonance? What Truth is hiding within the confusion and frustration it brings?

Join Jen Halterman and Cheri Gillham as they discuss the innocent training we received at a young age that led to our current experiences with Cognitive Dissonance and give you tools to address what it Now!

We will also be discussing how NOT to pass this on to our children, clients and other people in our lives that we offer advice, coaching and support to!
