Tonight's Episode of my regular Wednesday night show will start 30 minutes late. This happens to be the night our extended family has celebrated Christmas (dinnner & gift exchange at my folks), for all of my life. Things are already starting to change, and by next year will change dramatically. This year is not the one to rush through. This is one of those "savor the moments" times. I'm going to try my best to do that. If I make it home early, will start the show.
On Christmas Day it'll be the first holiday celebrated in our new home. A lot has changed in the last year. We don't entertain much, and haven't really at all at this new home; Unless you count work men! Now THOSE we've had plenty of!! Our new 4th Thurs hosts weren't up to starting on Christmas, so I'll be back hopefully with a few other hosts.
Recovery Now show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. Guests introduce topics, and survivor's share their experience, strength and hope. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. More will be revealed! Tune in, stop in and call in. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."
We focus on the four A's of Recovery...Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers. Featured guest in front half & second part of show is Open Mic and some great Indy Music sure to inspire!
Host is Kim Justus, author of In a Flash: Miracles Here and Beyond found at www.inaflash.org & "Like" at www.facebook.com/inaflash.org and of course you want to Like "Brain Injury Radio!"
For all of the nonsense that goes around this time of year regarding "Merry Christmas," "Happy Holidays," "Festivus for the Rest of Us," "Happy Hannukah," and all the others - does one wish one a "Killer Kwanza," or is it something else? - Most of it is surface gloss and irrelevant. What really matters is precisely what one does to celebrate their holiday of choice. I'd rather hear "Happy Holidays" that watch Grandma and Aunt Sue duke it out in a snow covered yard over who that box of wine really belongs to - to site just one example. How do we celebrate the holidays in a way that spiritually meaningful without getting trapped in the materialism and performance based approval systems that have permanently ruined the holidays for so many?
Equally important is the issue of those for whom the holidays bring more pain than joy. If we are one of those people, how can we move toward healing? If we know one of those people, how might we help them be more comfortable if they decide to attend our holiday event? We'll look at these issues and more today on Interspritual Insights.
Happy Holidays! This is our last show of 2014!
On this show I will be sharing some of the key points that I channeled for 2015 with Mary Queen of the Angels! She provided several key predictions for the new year and how you can prepare!
We will also be powering up your big intentions for 2015! So bring your list for our big Holiday Wishes Guided Meditation with the Angels!
And we are super lucky to be able to use the fantastic New Moon energy that is upon us that gives us the perfect set up for fresh starts and new beginnings! This will make our guided meditation even more powerful!
And a few readings too! So call in early! 347 215 9485
See you on the show!
in The Bible
For most of us, there is only the unattended
Moment, the moment in and out of time,
The distraction fit, lost in a shaft of sunlight,
The wild thyme unseen, or the winter lightning
Or the waterfall, or music heard so deeply
That it is not heard at all, but you are the music
While the music lasts.
We are living in time.......the wrong time.......Time, that master of order in the world of history, has been associated with Chronos and Kairos.......the two archetypal markers of time, Chronos, horizontal and superficial, Kairos vertical, leading into the depths. Chronos is that logical, mighty, keeper of clocks and calendar, of past and future, while Kairos is a portal to the eternal now, the present, the Truth.......and like dancers on the stage of eternity, these two aspects of time are locked in an eternal tango in which the ever-present Chronos sets the rhythm and beat for an unfolding reality. Kairos confounds us with the color and flow of Truth, which tantalize us with a sense of new possibilities.......ancient words from the eternal reveal and then conceal themselves once more. As Kairos dips and swirls into awareness, we grasp for the filaments of an alternate and complementary reality that seems, often, to withdraw just as we reach out. Kairos introduces intuitive sparks of possibilities that slip in and out of the pattern of order established by Chronos. Kairos is a portal to an eternal dimension that is home to our souls.

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will talk about all of the NFL games, from week 16. This weekend saw all but one playoff spot, be clinched. The San Diego Chargers currently hold the sixth, and final spot, in the AFC. The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Houston Texans, opening the door for the Chargers. The New England Patriots have clinched home field advantage, after the Denver Broncos lost to the Cincinnati Bengals, on Monday Night. The North divisions, in both leagues, will be decided, on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cincinnatil Bengals, and the Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions. The other division title, on the line, is the wooful NFC South. Either the Carolina Panthers, or Atlanta Falcons, will host a playoff game, with a losing record.
Although playoff spots have been clinched, the seeding is still wide open. The Bengals still have the opportunity to receive a first round bye, if they beat the Steelers, and the Broncos lose, to the Raiders. With some help, the Packers could clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs, with a win and Seattle Seahawks loss, to the St. Louis Rams. Week 17 has some meaningful games, and home field advantage, is on the line. Listen in and call the show, with your thoughts on who is playing well?

Writeous Talk on Love and Relationship is a show dedicated to thought-provoking content that encourages meaningful dialogue about love & relationships between single men and women who desire to be married. We'll discuss real issues that women talk about among themselves and men talk about among themselves, but rarely discuss openly between us. This show is not intended to pit men and women against one another as shows do which spark ratings/listenership, but does nothing to better our collective or individual understanding of one another which will ultimately improve the quality of our relationships. That is the mission and purpose of this show.
ABOUT YOUR HOST:
Derek Q. Sanders is a published author, blogger, public speaker, songwriter, and a musician. He has traveled the country as a musician on two consecutive tours with international spoken word artist, Mike Ellison.
On love & relationships, Derek speaks from a place of transparency and truth. He writes from two key premises (1) in the current societal landscape, women are not only undervalued, they are devalued being routinely objectified daily through mainstream media and entertainment. He provides insightful content that uplifts with truth & love. (2) There are far too few platforms that encourage open and honest dialogue between men and women that center on real issues that affect the health and well-being of our relationships. He creates that needed space.
Derek's mission is to foster strong healthy relationships by providing thought-provoking commentary that creates the atmosphere for dialogue that invites meaningful conversations between men and women to improve the quality of our relationships by finding and offering viable solutions.
