PUSH MY STORY WITH PASTOR LIVINGSTON, CHRISTIAN RADIO ICON

    in Christianity

DO YOU HAVE A SECRET? WHAT IS A SECRET...IS IT WRONG/SIN TO HAVE A SECRET FROM OTHERS? WHY?

    Mark 4:22-23 ESV

For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”

    Matthew 10:26-28 ESV / 102 helpful votes

“So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

    Ephesians 5:6-14 ESV / 9 helpful votes

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. ...

    Proverbs 12:13 ESV

An evil man is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, but the righteous escapes from trouble.

Prayer with the Prophets - Holy Ghost!

    in Spirituality

Let's pray like: Jesus, King David, Daniel, Prophetess Anna, Paul and Silas and you!

    Luke 18:1 (KJV)
    1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

    Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Let us pray until we have the answer!

Olivet Discourse Pt. 4: Matt. 24:35-51—Watching for the "Flood"

    in Religion

Matthew 24 & 25 is commonly known as the "Olivet Discourse."

In previous discussions we've noted that Jesus related events associated with His coming to pour out God's wrath upon Jerusalem and all the Jews in order to fulfill prophecy and bring their covenant with Him to an irreversible end in AD 70. He was to "come with the clouds" to consume the flesh of the carcase and to "gather" His elect into the new covenant relationship with Him.

In today's discussion we'll look at two illustrations which prompted the urgency of that generation to be alert for the great and awesome "day of the Lord." It also sets the stage for applying the two opening parables of chp. 25. Those illustrations are "the flood" and "the faithful and sensible slave."

As always, we insist that the teachings of Jesus and His apostles are not merely based on the prophets; but they are the God-inspired words which show a promise-keeping God fulfilling His word!

Please join--------  a connection to God is a powerful issues.  When we are connected to God the lights are on for us to see truth.  Lets talk about what issues can stand in the way of us seeing truth.  Personal will is a strong issues that can stop the connection of God flowing.  Some times it just pays to deny ourself the pleasure we think we should have in order to see the real truth God has for your life.

The Interpersonal Connection ~ There Is Hope ~ Part (4)

    in Motivation

Encouragement & Inspiration! Let's Talk About It, Then Pray About It. There Is Hope. Hope is not a sedative; it is a shot of adrenaline, a spiritual blood transfusion." A study of concentration camp survivors found that those prisoners who were able to hold onto their sense of hope ‘things are going to get better’ or ‘we’re going to get out of here one day’ were much more likely to survive. Hope then is not optional but for these prisoners proved to be a matter of life and death. "?But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love?" 1 Corinthians 13:13   Faith and hope are inseparably linked. We believe and so we hope.  Hope is a confidence born of faith. When we have faith in God, we claim His promises, and they give us hope for the future. This blessed hope is an exciting expectancy because God controls the future. When Jesus Christ is your Savior and your Lord, the future is your friend. You don't have to worry. Our society is characterized by a pervading sense of hopelessness. The Church is not immune to this hopeless feeling. Many who claim to be born again believers in Jesus Christ are searching for fulfillment in life. "Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent."
